OK, there are a LOT of rumors floating around right now due to “leaked” content on stream and some screenshots being taken. I would advise this: Do NOT take everything from the stream as gospel. Internal test builds like the one shown are often testing lots of different things - so things that appeared on screen may not even appear in game as they did on the test build. Everything I have included here has be verified as genuine and in the update - except for the Dome map image, no official info on that - anything else I would take with a HUGE grain of salt.

News:

  • Stoker is confirmed for the next update!

  • Stoker’s Molotov is visibly darker for the enemy, than the friendly Molotov’s.
  • Stoker’s ammo station is exactly the same as Kira’s.
  • The Molotov can be extinguished/dispersed with both smoke AND explosives.
  • Molotov cooldown is 40 seconds.
  • Dome looks like it’s pretty much confirmed too, due to the map listing shown in the test build on stream:

Possible changes/updates:

  • Headshot instagib removed in the next update.
  • Damage will “eat into” downed HP if they are on low HP already, meaning a gib is still possible with a headshot, IF the target is on low enough HP.
  • It looks as if the UI is MUCH more visible (such as markers for objectives) and they have been improved. They are solid yellow when off-screen.
  • Execution UI has been improved fantastically. – There are clear markers for who is carrying the bomb.
  • Humble Bundle loadouts will definitely be coming to the game. No ETA on it. – Remember, they are entirely cosmetic.
  • New loading screens – It will now tell you what side you are on: Jackals or CDA.
  • Vote to surrender, restart AND pause the match is coming in the next update.

They were playing an internal testing build. Anyone spotted anything else there? I was only listening 98% of the time.

I’ve seen Stoker loadout store page - were these the same as those found in last patch data?

Also, when Pixel got into menu, he received some rewards (obsidian phoenix card and some cases) - seemed like “thank you” for playing on the latest version :smiley:

I definitely saw new cases in the menus. Forgot to print screen at this time :(.
And I also noticed a special blue and yellow Nader color scheme.

Edit : By the way, even though it was an internal build that might be a bit old compared to the last date work, there were a ton of bugs appearing in execution mode (turret shooting through bomb objective towers…), so I’d bet the ETA of the update is more likely to be on the late side than the soon one.

T65 looks like the best imo, only thing is it’s the Timik, not the best gun. If you want the M4 the best seems to be M65.

@Eox not 100% confirmed! It’s a test build, so anything goes. But it was in there… if it’s not in the next update, it should follow soon after :smiley:

I’d use the T65 for Timik and M55 for M4. M65 has a terrible sidearm and only gains Drilled, while you get the Deagle and Quick Draw with the 55 (Plus Kukri Kappa).

Actually that’s the one I meant, I misread the 5 as a 6, the M4 card with drilled is M61 -_-

@Faraleth Yeah, but Stoker has spammable explosives as well as Nader. I am worried that either of them will render the flames much less useful with their long cooldown. It should just be smoke. Give it a specific counter to make Redeye more useful.

Did anyone see on the last pic and read:

“Dirty Bomb returns with new loadout cards, party matchmaking, and more.”

Could that mean we’ll get some pub party matchmaking? And also new loadout cards? Possibly the humble bundle ones?

Because the explosion blows away the oxygen that the fire needs, pretty much the same way you can blow out a candle. Not sure if it is still the case today, but it used to be common to use explosives to blow out oil well fires.

Those are the same as the ones in the current release of the game files and are still showing the same name on all of them. :confused: They’ll most likely get updated before the update, but I suspect the loadouts will remain the same and they will only change the names…

Not really keen on the fact that molotov can be countered with explosives as well since at that point there would have been more use for Redeye than just blocking teammates’ vision and I’m pretty concerned about it’s effectiveness with 40s cooldown.
