Just 1 comment - some places could use few texture tweaks - some places look very bland since same texture is applied to all brushes.
Some images look damn nice - fence/spikey fern image looks very realistic.
The screenies look nice but the path out with (the Countryside) tank looks a little corridor like, i think it would look better if you had steep hills stops people climbing up but looks natural if you know what i mean. That my small comment but looking nice overall, seems to have the linear ET play route like the original maps do ‘a’ then ‘b’ then steal ‘c’ and escape seems people like that as they have expressed a dislike to the free random nature of my map.

I use 3 environments - gaming, mapping, and testing. The testing environment is just that - bare. The only PK3’s in /etmain are the ones for the most current release of the map. You find all sorts of things this way.
This pk3 was tested in a “bare” enviroment prior to release.
There should be no orange tiles in the pk3.
–oops I stand corrected, the logs are missing their textures…

Aside from that, beta testing seems to be going well. A tunnel will be added before final release to prevent a “choke point” near the truckyard.
Any other gameplay suggestions are welcome.
kommando, if you don’t get any missing texture that can only mean that you have shaders that are not used. And, of course, those reference textures that aren’t there. Even though you say those shaders are not in the map, Silicon didn’t invent them.
As for Silicon’s post, it’s a shell script that looks for those kind of mistakes. He doesn’t have to open the map. I might add that his tool is a very good addition to what we can do as tests.

Either PM me with a location or email me direct (I know you have my email). I had a look on www.etmaps.de but could only see Beta 1. You mention up above that you added a tunnel so it would be better to work from the latest version

Yeah I have been busy with Work, Uni and family. I did start work on Overload B1, infact the I did effectiverly Overload A1 but that soon changed greatly, everything moved and B1 came along, then B2 and then Kommando fell off the earth :moo: I couldn’t contact him so I didnt continue with Overload. Currently i’ve got about five command maps to do plus another couple waiting in the shadows.
