I’m going to flip so many tables if the next merc is Aimee. Hope for the best.
I’ll bolt them to the floor ahead of time. Need them tables to put my computer on so I can play me some Aimee.
@Xavien How about throwing katanas for Phantom? They never said no to that.
@cornJester Lol, but in reality they said they won’t be adding any second ability to Phantom :(
Make Phantom throw katana and die as second ability.
Or give him a sort of heartbeat sensor to plant. Let’s say you sneak behind enemy lines, hide this “sensor” somewhere and go away before refractive vanish. This might help those Phantom who do not have a katana.
Or give him some kind of weapon that is able to target a specific enemy merc and this get higher damage (medics I’m looking at you, Rhino too)
Or give him a weapon that shoot some type of plasma that makes team mate, just one team mate, invisible for… 5 sec?
PS: I do not have and use Phantom, so I don’t know what I’m talking about ^^. I’m just drinking coffee.
Perhaps Google it like the rest of us educated Europeans?
Just like any other person in this century I’m aware of the constant googling option, yet if you analyse my post, there is no question mark whatsoever. I wasn’t asking for information. I just wanted to point out that Americans tend to assume the whole world knows about their customs and cultural events. Now it might come as a shock to many Americans, but we, rest of the world, don’t necessary know about them. Hence, having less self importance would be a good thing for Americans to learn.
Sometime next week.
I wasn’t asking a question, but I appreciate your uttermost accurate reply. (sarcasm intended)
@Lumi Dirty Bomb is run by the American brand of Nexon, so it’s only reasonable they would do events like this one. By that reasoning, should we scrap all future events for Halloween, Christmas, Easter and other religious or cultural related festivities, just because other parts of the world don’t celebrate them?
@Faraleth No one said anything about scrapping. Just for providing a standardized time and date for any future event. People from all over the world play DB and post here. Just a courtesy and a way to avoid simple errors in communication like the one then we sat for an hour in Twitch chat waiting for the stream because time change in US was a week later than in EU.
@MarsRover Full details for the sale will be given closer to the time, including the time-frame it’s active ^.^ So no one should miss it - just right now all they are willing to say is “there will be a Black Friday sale”.
From this, you can expect it to be coming very soon, but as with every retailer, promotions are not fully announced until they begin. I think it’s pretty good they gave us a heads-up on the sale, because in the case of Steam as well as lots of other games, a lot of the time you won’t know a sale is coming.
Fear not though, as I said, full details including the time-frame will be given ^.^
@Faraleth There is no Black Friday in my part of the world. So I had zero idea when will that be. I could google it but since DB is a joint UK/US thing I’m not even sure which Black Friday I should be looking for. Later MM said that it’s “sometime next week” which is a sufficient clarification for now.
I’m slightly nitpicking here but when communicating with a worldwide community it’s helful to state everything in universal terms.
You totally got my point. I’m Portuguese and if Nexon would be Portuguese and running the show from there, them announcing there would be an event for the São Martinho would be just as wrong as saying there is something for Black Friday. The fact that they’re Americans doesn’t excuse that sort of announcement. The entire world doesn’t revolve around the US anymore and they should acknowledge that by being universal. I’m not saying they shouldn’t use local customs for scheduling their events, sales, etc., but they should at least announce them in an international way. Referring to Black Friday, Superbowl and other American only events is not internationally clear enough. that’s all I was trying to say.
Let me clear this up. Black Friday is after Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is next Thursday (a week from today)
So if it’s a Black Friday sale it’s probably 8 days from now.
@DMaster2 I know right?
I thought this one would cause more of a storm. I’m not 100% sure weather Monday will bring the new role-call, but I’m sure people have missed some pretty dazzling hints. Oh well.
Storm, weather, dazzling. It’s Thunder, folks!!
I’m going to flip so many tables if the next merc is Aimee. Hope for the best.
Yeah me too, I’ll have to buy Phantom if it’s Aimee since I gotta use those 50,000+ credits I have now for something.
Next thursday.
Again not asking a question, but funny that you believe that Black Friday is next Thursday…
And avoid some silly naming accidents. Here in France, if you talk about a black friday, you’re not talking about sales right now…

Agreed. Stay strong, our thoughts are with you!
Perhaps Google it like the rest of us educated Europeans?
And Americans… I suck at holiday dates.
