Why don’t they just put you directly into the game? Why do you have to wait 15 seconds to be put into an already ongoing game. Am I missing something? It doesn’t seem to serve any purpose.

they filter the servers for the mode you want then try to find a server who is not full then they search for the one with a good ping so you dont lag and play normally

it is just to adjust to the spawn wave time i think …i find it little annoying too xD

They answered this a while back. This is so everyone else’s computers can load in the assets and merc cards that are in your squad. If they did not have the 15 seconds, people would just see a blue character and blank cards.

Ah OK, that makes sense. It’s annoying, but at least I can tell myself it’s for a good reason.
