News:

  • Hotfix for the current “spawn bug” incoming this week (Due to DBNation tournament on this Sunday)!
  • Question: Can we expect some new maps coming soon? – “Well, we have a fancy update coming very soon… Sooooo…” (Yet more hints towards Dome in the next update!)
  • The recently resurfaced Splash Damage and Nexon skins that were shown on Reddit are still under consideration for their actual use, although they will likely be exclusive to devs or Nexon staff, to allow them to stand out in-game.
  • This leads to further speculation that the Twitch skins that also resurfaced on Reddit may be exclusive to Twitch streamers? MissMurder said she had “no comment” for this though.
  • There is no planned “final” collection of merc. It can be assumed new mercs will always be in the works for the foreseeable future.

Possible changes/updates:

  • You will DEFINITELY be getting “more bang for your buck” with the trade-in system. Cost in terms of credits and cards are certainly going to be lowered.
  • Something they are thinking about is having people “trade in” same merc cards, similar to a re-roll. It may have additional cost, not sure if they are referring to card or credits, maybe both. No full clarification on this.
  • Clarification: It’s unlikely controller support will ever be added to Dirty Bomb. They are focusing on a core PC gaming experience.
  • Unlikely to see further Red-Eye changes, due to him having a change in almost every update thus far.
  • They know people are not happy with the competitive missions. They may get the same treatment as the secondary missions.

Extra info:

  • Guest: Radrodo – GM.
  • There are hints for the next merc going to be dropped on social media pretty soon… :3 MissMurder is currently working on a calendar for information release.

But also with today’s stream. We got a clue for one of the biggest mysteries of our forum. Many people were wondering if Faraleth is either male or female. Well I’m here to provide you some SUPER extra additional research info:

  • “She… Faraleth told me to do it” - GM-Sadfrodo during stream (after doing a Fletcher impression, 01:05:56)
  • (Just a random text to fill-up the blank space)
  • Faraleth is making a cosplay for contest. Most of ppl make their favourite character cosplay and we know Faraleth likes Sparks. (that doesn’t prove anything at all, but it might be hard to do a male sparks… Right?)
  • (And another random text to make it look like a list of important things)

(Maaan I feel like MatPat with his GameTheories now)

With all that being said: [spoiler]I’ve got no idea what’s the answer :trollface:
After writing all that random stuff I feel like I’m simply trying to get attention :tongue: don’t be mad Faraleth. As far as I see it, Faraleth is Faraleth and has no gender (or maybe Faraleth’s gender IS Faraleth). That being said, why is it important?

Also, why is Faraleth’s gender (or lack there of) being discussed in a thread about the last stream?

Faraleth does not have a gender, Faraleth IS a gender.

Don’t think they named off all the planned changes. And it was mentioned in the Oct 12 round up they are looking into changing Vassili’s instagib ability but did not make any promises (so it may or may not get removed). I do hope they do remove it but also increase gib damage with the bolt action so they can kill down players with a single show instead of like five. It would also be nice if they changed the Felix to deal 200 head shot damage so it can down a Rhino in one hit (kill in two).
