11th December Nexon Stream Round-Up [WITH RAZIELWARMONIC]

News:

  • Keep an eye on Dirty Bomb social media for various teasers and information, similar to how the Containment War update was teased.
  • The next update is said to be a “large update”. It definitely will NOT be anywhere near as large as the Containment War update, however. The only thing confirmed not to be included is a new merc.
  • MissMurder is moving onto a new shooter for Nexon. She did not reveal what this would be, but she did say we could probably figure it out. :wink:
  • ALL prizes for past competitions will be sent out “before the holidays”. The reason for the delay on this was due to them needing to set up a proper shipping method, as some prizes would have cost ludicrous amounts (ie. upwards of $50) without a dedicated courier.
  • The Alienware codes will definitely be back, although it is currently in Alienware’s hands. They said they have had the problem before with bots nabbing keys, so they want to fix it before giving out more keys.

9th December (These notes are from the 9th December stream with shoe.):

  • They will be doing “lots of quite cool things” for Christmas. No details right now, but shoe. promises “super fun times for everybody”.
  • There will likely NOT be an update this month with a new merc in it.
  • Thunder will be “having a few tweaks” in the next update.

EDIT: OK, so several people on the forums and subreddit have speculated a map release with the next update. While there is no information opposing this at this time, neither is there anything to support it. I can only assume the assumptions have come from the recent map leak, in which 2 blockout maps were left in the game files, although these were FAR from complete, so I personally think it’s very unlikely we will see these within 2015. I may be wrong, but I just want to remind people not to get their hopes up over limited information like this - there is plenty more in the way of content besides maps and mercs! :slight_smile:

Oh, and that’s the moment when you seek bunch of concussed or blinded enemies to kill after throwing concussionade.

  • Throw concussionade, and check out bunch of Concussed +10 XP

  • Enter enemy’s choke point and look for concussed enemies to free-damage deal

  • Forgot it was after December 1st hotfix so you realize you are fxxked up.

  • Try to run away with 375 movement speed and Rhino-like hitbox, but even long jump won’t save you because poor Thunder is smashed by fake-concussed enemies.

Sounds like a new map to me as that’s the only thing I could think of that would constitute a larger than usual update with exception of a new merc?

Oooh, special edition cases with 0.31 and 0.11 drop chances because they listened the community which wanted higher drop rates?
