News:

  • There will DEFINITELY be some “actual game content” in the next update. – This likely refers to either Dome or Execution, however neither is completely confirmed.
  • The next update will be “in the next few weeks”. There is no confirmed ETA, however a likely time-frame is between 20th – 29th October.
  • Question: Are you guys aware of the ‘leaked’ loadout cards of Stoker and the Humble Bundle cases? – “We know you guys datamine stuff in our updates. You think we won’t throw in some red-herrings after last time?” (Ohhhhh… you guys. c: )
  • They realise the community’s need for new maps, and new maps are now a very HIGH priority right now. (I hope this means they are on a fast-track compared to Dome’s progress, but that is not confirmed – I will ask into this further in the next set of dev Q&A’s)
  • Question: Can we expect any event weekends in the near future? – “I definitely want to do a double credits weekend soon, and I’m not sure if we will have another elite case weekend; maybe. We’ll see.”
  • “Execution is SO CLOSE to being done.” – Sounds like it could be coming at some point over the next month or so.

Possible changes/updates:

  • The “trade in” system will DEFINITELY be changed. Currently you are advised not to use it, because it will go through some changes and will hopefully provide better value.
  • They have discovered the source of the problem with the NGS “security violation” kick, however they are currently working to resolve it, without allowing certain hacks to bypass it. It’s definitely a VERY HIGH priority right now though.
  • Player levels are here to stay, as currently planned.
  • Balance changes are also likely in the next patch, no details on these though.
  • Definitely plans to change/improve some augments, Pineapple Juggler in particular. This will likely be reworked.
  • They are aware of the performance issues with the latest update on some machines. These are being worked on currently.

  • Keep an eye out for the Dirty Bomb social media channels! Over the next couple of weeks, there will be several hints towards some of the features in the next update.
  • Today it was a pyjama party… quite literally! @MissMurder and OneLetter were in animal pyjamas!

I won, I won, I ruddy won! Thanks for the Aussie / NZ / US / other bits of the world stream. Much appreciated. Pings in the game server are a bit of an issue but there is nothing to be done about that. I had 250 ping from Adelaide. Still had fun though.

I would love to have that explained to me, since I can only see the negative impact visible levels have on any random game.

@Ferrett321 The main ones they are referring to are Twitter, Facebook and the Forums/News sections - as well as YouTube, although most hints/posts will be published on Twitter or Facebook. ^.^

So they pushed back Dome another month. This is a prime example of why you should only use Soon™ for public deadlines. What a letdown :[

So they really have a bunch of graphic artists making fake loadout cards with brand new skins (as opposed to simply Bronze skins on different background as was the case for the previously leaked Special Edition cards) just to throw us for a loop? The Stokers cards could be placeholders since it’s probably very easy to swap weapons, augments and names on those (and they suspiciously all have the same name at the moment), but the others look like a lot of work for a red-herring. Could be a while before we see any of them for real though…
