5 ones should drop from both Arsenal and Elite Cases.
Did you know…

I Actually agree with this, You could also add the first credit boost as well as it is less than a dollar, and you could have the percentages for getting both of these items considerably low as they are paid items, But still the chance of even getting these items alone would make me happy.
I’d rather they just let us buy them in the store already.
Then maybe remove the 1 crafting kit and 1 weapon kit options from Arsenal Crates. Nothing more annoying than wanting a fancy case and getting 1 weapon kit
Are you trying to steal my thunder on random facts?
On a serious note, that might make them too readily available, but I agree the drop rate for them needs to be increased due to how many are needed for a cobalt.
@RyePanda Not really… just came across a cook who taught me how to cook proper spaghetti.
pasta and noodles are 2 different thing made with different stuff but looks the same
But there not selling them there making it dificult if not impossible to get
There’s a theory that SD could make more money with a different business model that’s not (mostly) based on RNG loadouts. Plenty of people already suggested other revenue sources that seem to work well in other games.
Assuming they want to earn a similar amount of money from weapon kits compared to RNG Elite cases, this would result in a rather scary price: about $45 to $50 per weapon kit. I doubt anyone would buy 45 of those.
Here’s the reasoning:
If for example you want a cobalt Sparks 383 with 95% certainty, right now you have to buy 4854 Elite B cases. If you buy them in bulks of 10 cases, you need to invest $17005.14.
The math: 1 - (1 - 0.05 probability to get Cobalt * 1/9 probability to get Sparks * 1/9 probability to get 373) ^ 4854 cases = 95.007% probability to be happy
In comparison, when you craft a Cobalt for your desired merc yourself without using credits, you currently need $7.99 (for 10 weapon kits) and 20000 fragments. With 45 weapon kits, the probability to get exactly what you want is 1/3, so you need 8 attempts to be 96% certain.
The math: 1 - (1 - 1/3 probability to get the desired loadout) ^ 8 attempts = 96.098% probability to be happy.
Assuming you don’t want to play the game and recycle dropped cards, you have to buy Expert A cases, which on average can be converted to 766.9 fragments.
The math (number of recycled fragments * probability for rarity): 135 * 0.56 + 540 * 0.32 + 2150 * 0.09 + 13000 * 0.025 = 766.9 average fragments per Expert Case A.
So on average you need to buy 26.079 Expert cases to get 20000 fragments. With 10 cases costing $16.99, this would be about $44.31 for 20000 fragments. However, after the first (wrong) cobalt you can recycle it immediately for 13000 fragments and only need to buy 7000 fragments for the next attempt. This would be cheaper and only cost you about $15.51.
To sum it up, after an initial investment for your first 20000 fragments, 8 attempts of crafting would cost you 8 * ($7.99 for weapon kits + $15.51 for fragments + $X * 45 weapon kits). Here, X is the price for a single weapon kit. This must be high enough to yield the same amount as the about $17000 for Elite cases based happiness.
Therefor, a single weapon kit would have to be priced at about $46.70.
The math: ($17000 / 8 attempts - ($7.99 + $15.51) / 1 attempt) / 45 weapon kits = $46.7 per weapon kit.
(This ignores the fact that the Expert cases bought to recycle fragments can also give you the desired loadout because the probability is very small. Also, I’m comparing 95% with 96% probability because my logarithm math is too rusty. And finally, there are of course two kinds of cobalt and depending on your taste only one of them might actually look good.)
But there not selling them there making it dificult if not impossible to get[/quote]
We def need them to drop more often or like has been said already remove the single Kit drop chance from the Arse Crates at least.
Also i guess that if they were to be sold it could be classed as PTW

Pay-to-win skins that make you look good? I can bet my left nut players will still be playing dumb arse aura or stupid skyhammer even with a shiny new cobalt loadout.
Cheats in the game is pay-to-win. It’s not hard. It’s harder to detect and thwart them in-game.
And they don’t have other avenues? It’s annoying as hell getting 1 weapon kit from a case and months and levels later I’ve still got 1 kit sitting in my inventory with nothing to do with it.
