Fix it, please. Spent $20 to support a game that doesn’t even play properly. You should realize that people DO have AMD processors, therefore you should optimize it for AMD processors. Contacted your terrible support via email over a week ago, still no response. What in the world?
1.5 GB Patch and still haven't fixed the FPS problem with AMD?
There are 2 problems with this topic.
- You picked AMD to play a splash damage game.#
- People using AMD have suffered like over 2 years before you of patches hoping for performance boosts. Wouldn’t hold your breath just just as the optimization patch is a long way off.
Why even buy AMD processors anymore? They’re so far behind Intel…
And I’m not anti-AMD. I love their GPUs. But their processors are no longer a value.
CPU? I have an AMD 1090T and have a good 150+ FPS. I do have an Nvidia GPU though.
I agree with the OP if that is indeed an issue with products. However, I do buy Intel/Nvidia only due to most companies testing/vetting their games more thoroughly as not only are their workstations going to have that combo in many cases but so will a lot of their test machines.
Don’t worry, I got i7 3930k + GTX 970 and Im averaging 85ish fps, far from steady. Its not only AMD.

There are a million problems with this response. Stop posting immature comments, you’re representing a (hopefully) serious clan and the upcoming DB cup. Please, try to maintain a more professional approach.
i chose a 486, and i demand this game be optimized for it.
i agree that this game should be optimized for most amd/intel processors, but i just wanted to point out how poorly worded your response is.[quote=“tartCanvas;13310”][quote=“potty;13048”]There are 2 problems with this topic.

man can act anyway he wants, nothing about a community driven tournament is professional man, dont be so salty.
[left]Fx-8350 + gtx760.
I had steady 150 fps before last 2 updates (zero fps drop and no lag!). First update took my fps to steady 130 fps and I got a little fps drops to 124 from 130, but with latest update I got a lot more fps drops than earlier and weird lag.[left]

I’m fairly certain a lot of the lag issues everyone gets when airstrikes are thrown among other events. I believe it’s server lag unless they really really screwed something up clientside. This type of lag has been going on since before the Steam betas though.
The reason I made this post, I have an FX8320 and a 560ti. Game runs perfect for about 5-10 minutes, after that the fps just starts jumping around everywhere… it’s more than likely not a complicated fix. Why they’re taking so long to fix it? Who knows. I spent 20 dollars on this game for instant beta access to make a team with a few friends of mine, KNOWING there may be IN GAME bugs, didn’t think optimization would be THIS bad. If it was possible to get a refund, I absolutely would. Great game, terrible team of coders.
Its not as easy as some of you think to “support AMD processors”.
People are quick to lay blame on the game, when in reality it is AMD that to blame.
There are standards for processors that support x86, and x64. These are used to make sure your cpu works with the windows environment. Don’t blame the game if your AMD processor cant handle it. True the standards were designed around intel processors.
Amd knows the standards, its there job to meet them. No wonder most gamers buy intel, even when Amd cost a fraction of the cost.

Are you even thinking properly? I have no problems with any other games. And from what I’ve read on here and reddit, it seems as though the patch that started on the 26th or w/e is the culprit. Clearly it’s something THEY broke, and clearly something they give no shits about considering I contacted support over a week ago and still no response after sending in my dxdiag. Also, only reason I posted this in the general chat is to get some attention because the technical support forum is SO bad, that not one person that works for splash damage / nexon helps ANYBODY on it.
It sounds like you, as many others have, are getting heat issues. It could be a memory leak so you should check for both. Do this. Download Open Hardware Monitor and turn it on. It will give you CPU/GPU temps and speeds. Keep it running. When you start getting choppy FPS then you need to do two things.
First, go into your windows task manager and check Dirty Bomb and make sure it isn’t running at 100% CPU non-stop and that it’s not using all of your system memory. If it is, this could be a game issue with your setup. If it’s not then check Open Hardware Monitor and see how hot your CPU and GPU are. I’d wager your CPU is getting crazy hot and the CPU is trying to clock itself down constantly to keep from getting too hot. This happens ALL THE TIME with laptops with Dirty Bomb due to how CPU bound the game is.
If you haven’t done these things already I’d highly suggest it. And please, for the love of gaming, don’t respond with “other games don’t cause this”. Everyone says that who has this problem and it still ends up being a heat issue because not every game works the same.

Have already did all that, CPU stays at 40-50% the whole time, GPU temps are fine, CPU temps are a bit high… but I have all throttling in BIOS turned off… clock speed stays the same. No cpu spikes, No gpu spikes.
When in dought, tweak it… it’s not the greatest idea but at least you can play the game

By a bit high what do you mean? If you are at a high temp and it never moves from that temp it means that’s where your CPU is clocking itself down to stay at that tempature. And you can’t turn that particular feature off in the bios (that just turns off the bios’s version of it). Both AMD and Intel include safety features for their processors and do not rely on BIOS features to keep the processors from burning up (generating support calls and replacement costs).
