Actually, it’s a shotgun. They both are.

The M26 is a military weapon, though normally it’s mounted as an underbarrel weapon. The M1 variant is a standalone version.

The MTs255 is a hunting shotgun, so it’s not really meant for combat. But than again so is the Winchester repeater which the Ahnuld-12 is based on.

EDIT: Though, in the case of the m26, they should take some liberates and make it semi-automatic instead of bolt action.
