Those were all great. American Ninja is one of those movies a lot of people may not of saw, like Remo Williams.
Will this be rated M?

I doubt they gonna check the DVD itself… if they do, Im sorry for you having such parents
it must be like the german rating board… with the difference that your parents actually succeed lol.[/QUOTE]
the only problem with that is if they look under parent controls and look at games (and since it would be a rated game by ESRB it will say this
game: BRINK:stroggbanana:
Rating (if rated M) M:eek:
Rated By: ESRB:eek:
Allow (yes or no)
My favorite film as a child was Demolition Man
I think there is a point to keeping certain games away from certain age groups though, I remember once quite a few years back when I was at my mates house and his nephew of about 6 years old was around and he was playing GTA 3, he looked possessed as he just drove around running people over, that’s all he did for the duration of his time playing, it was rather disturbing.
Kids these days! I remember how we were totally all over those Schwarzenegger flicks, especially the Commando. What was it, 100 bodies total?
Europe is not like the US: violence gets a higher rating overall in Europe than it does in the US. In the US, sexual content drives up the rating, especially in movies. I can’t believe some blood-and-guts movies that get PG-13 ratings here. Apparently it’s okay to riddle people with bullets, but the sight of a bare breast is just too much for some people, I guess. The video game rating system doesn’t seem to be as generous when it comes to violence or adult content, but the bias against violence seems stronger to me in Europe than it is in the US, regardless of the medium.
Correct me if I’m wrong…I’m just quoting my personal experience from time I’ve spent in Europe…
In Germany it seems Brink has been already rated to “ab 16 Jahren”. Seen on several german online stores (like amazon) and at the offical site, too (the blue logo in the bottom). For any german readers we have a detailed news item about this. The rating for germany is something between a “Teen” and “Mature” like rating in the US.
Because there are no sexuall themes in Brink, I think it will rated as Teen.
I was looking at the Brink diaries on PS3 attitude and I found this. http://www.ps3attitude.com/new/2010/11/brink-diaries-ark-story-explained/
The following is from the article: If you see the opening cut scene for this level, it’s the guys coming in on their assault boat, and they talk: “Dude, I didn’t sign up to this storm trooper bull**** (I think we had to change bull**** because we’re going for a teen rating) of kicking people out of their homes.”
Nathan Drake says **** in Uncharted 2 (rated T) so Im not sure. But since headshots are 1 hit KOs there is no need for them to come off like in Killzone 3. I like seeing blood on the snow in the Killzone 3 Open Beta but I dont think there is a need for this game to be M. MAG (which could`ve been M) is T so this one probably will be T as well.
Haha language is hardly a deal breaker these days. Today they’re openly saying “Sierra Hotel India Tango” on the radio and noone is batting an eye lid… The f-bomb is next, and rapidly approaching “acceptable” in society.
Anyone seen the game Star Wars: Republic Commando on the origional Xbox? that game had blood n’ guts splattering all over your visor untill you whiped it off, and the characters swore quite a bit, and it was still T. ESRB is really leneant about star wars games for some reason.
sorry pal, no offense but what else are we supposed to think after this opener…
do they allow
?
If you can by Rated M games I would say at least 17 unlike the controls in the stores are a joke in the USA.
