Why isn't ricochet incorporated into gameplay these days.

Probably most realistic ones? Probably most of these. I remember Delta Force 2 had gravity, wind and bullet speed to contend with.

At least in UT2k4, I believe those were actually fast projectile weapons.

You can use the argument “but people will find a hack for that” for literary any feature in the game.
