quakewars does`nt have 1000s of people like other games, especially on pc, like all id games there are 10 regular players on the master pus servers, but in quakewars there are bots to fill the missing slots

in every movie of brink the player will hop over some railings, which is probaly SMART physics working, if you in a fire fight and tap a rail, you might hop over it and die,

cups, clans and leagues would end right there

marketing.

and the fact that splash damage has a history in pc gaming that is almost legendary. enemy territory created something new. not all new but mostly. and people who are into pc gaming and call themselfes “oldschool” know this and anticipate their next title very much.

its almost like id software would release a new doom or quake.

when it comes to first person shooters there are just a few names you should know:

id software
valve
epic

and splash damage

period.
