That said, I’d rather see an ET:QW 2 than a Brink 2, but I’d probably buy either.
Despite the issues with Brink, I’ve still played it more than any FPS since ET:QW. If I can get over 25 hours out of a game I consider it to be a worthwhile investment.
Personally, I don’t know. Seems like there’s a lot of hate being thrown around considering there’s a community here who really love the game. I’d totally pay for every DLC they release; the more Brink I can get, the better. I’d be surprised if there weren’t other users on here that felt the same way.

Yeah sure, I was bit skeptical of Brink throughout its development and only pre-ordered based on ridiculously low price but the game is quite OK minus the technical issues which I’m sure will get fixed. Brink 2 should be a vast improvement.

Brink 2 won´t happen sequels only have a chance of sucess with a large community from the previous released game, Brink have around 1600 max players per day and keeps droping.
But if they make brink2 in the future i´ll look at it but probably won´t pre order and stuff.
My personally option isnt on the list but I picked option 4 I guess.
The game needs to be more pc oriented. W:ET was a dream come true. It had everything.
I understand SD gave it out free and somewhat in error and bugs but it was enhanced by etpro/etshrub/etpub. Then jaymod came and noquarter which killed that game.
All the comp players went to play WOW (damn you WOW!)
If Brink feels more like it more geared for PC id consider it. I like this game now dispite being disappointed in the early stages.
I just think they need to release:
demos
text chat
option to remove ALL cinematic/videos/victory screens
I wish I could pump out more fps too.
I have a 5770 ati card and had 21 fps but after the patches I got to 50-60fps.
Now after the last update im lucky to get 50

Why are people mentioning a second game when this game is barely a few months old, seriously, posts like this is what creates devs dropping support for a game and working on a new one, the game is beginning to flop as is, a second one is the LAST thing they should have on their minds at the moment, salvage this game, wait 2 years or so, then think about a second.
If SplashDamage, were influenced by what was said in this forum… a good 80% of the game’s “features” wouldnt have made the cut. So not to worry

I would love a Brink 2, if only to go deeper in the story surrounding the Ark and the rest of the world.
But Brink just came out, and needs a bit of help. It’s not time to think too much about Brink 2, although when it is time, and whan it comes out, I trust I can buy it without regret. Provided it is of course an online multiplayer FPS like what SD can deliver.
Although I wouldn’t mind a reworked solo, separated from multi this time, with a RPG twist to it (ask the Bethesda guys), with a camp base to visit, buy your gun mods or haircuts and so on. Not a Borderland-like thing, but like a nice lobby that would help linking the story bits. Only for solo mode of course. Oops, here I just thought of Brink 2… my bad !
