They confirmed there will be premium skins in the future - purchasable with real money. They will not be released until after the main content for the game is done (ie. out of beta).

They will be, eventually! They will just be buyable character skins. Again though - these will NOT be coming out for quite a while, because they want to release the actual game before pumping out cosmetics for extra cash. :L

And yeah, I am happy to wait for skins, but I will definitely be getting them once they come out! I will only buy them if they release them AFTER all the actual game content is done though. I am happy to pay for things, but no obvious cash-grabs xD

@Xavien It’s actually under the “screenshots” section and is a very old one… so I guess I can understand why. Still, I agree though - a little strange to have it there.

@Faraleth Yea ik, but Phantom I believe he did used to be able to use sniper rifles, but that Arty skin never existed ever in game or such.

Some of his old character selection lines even have him say he uses a big rifle and a nice stabby sword.

Also Bushwhacker at one point had a cap like Fletcher along with a headset.

That was an Elite skin prototype, and just like the Arty one it was never actually seen in game.
