If memory serves it did not used to have a “360 degree” traverse for shooting at people. It said so in the video so perhaps that is the buff you are seeking @skakalot

Since steam she had decreased nade RoF, and max 5 nades. I never understood the complaint regarding martyrdom, you should never be close to nader anyways do to her nading your face with ease.

I’d expect the max nades to be brought down to 4 or sth after even more people complain.

I have a friend who is rather terrible at the game who streams and he made a drinking game out of getting random nade kills while also rushing their spawn to die in front of somebody and instantly suicide. Hopefully the suicide mechanic has a very long arming time like Proxy’s mines now. It promotes bad or bored players to rush and try and get suicide kills with the nades + martyrdom and it takes away from a game that is currently more about aim than spam.

I don’t want TF2 demoman. I hate the demoman and it’s mostly what made me stop playing that game outside of playing with some friends. This game doesn’t need a super low skill cap instant kill character in the roster. I was hoping we’d go 6-12 months before she was introduced honestly and I was hoping her nades would basically be a longer range version of Fragger’s and only have 2.[/quote]

I can pretty much do this with Proxy’s mines. Just rush a horde of players and run/jump around like a maniac while planting mines on the floor and by the time they finish killing me the mines are armed and I get quads.

I absolutely HATED this until I realized this is the best strategy to still be an effective slayer while tipsy.

Every new game has it’s crutch skill/item that allow no-skilled players to get kills. In CoD it’s noobtubes and death streaks, in BLR it’s tomahawks, prox mines and HE nades etc. Its something to allow newer players to keep from being discouraged. Sadly the fact is that there are more casual players than competitive players and that’s where the money is.

People are crying more about the shotgun/light merc classes. If Fragger/Skyhammer had a shotgun I’d have no problem with that

I liked the video. I only ever played with the 7 mercs that are in the current beta and it did a really good job of introducing that character’s abilities and playstyle.

It did. Once ‘locked on target’ the turret would track you until losing line of sight. So no change there.
