They say the World will come to is;t end by 21st of December, therefore SD must give us the announcement before that time, if it is willing to at all.
Its time to play… Guess SD’s response:
/cough
[QUOTE=Humate;404297]5) ‘We thought you guys would leave us after Brink, so we made it up’

Hahhahaa
Made my day.

yeah +1 for that
But yeah Ops has a point Ive been waiting also to see the announcement
I think SD have developed a sort of “Valve time” which I’m calling “Lag time”, inspired from the netcode in QW.
Announcements to make in the coming weeks and months
That right there pretty much tells me, future announcements could be from the time it was posted till the end of the year… In essence there is no delay…
Reading Comprehension 101:rolleyes:
Where do you get this arbitrary end of year deadline? I don’t like your reading comprehension class.
Were you really expecting to get a game this year? Brink was announced 2 years after ETQW was released and that was without them working on a mobile game at the same time. The only reason I’m even expecting any sort of announcement is because they said there’d be one, tbh before they said that I wasn’t expecting to hear anything till next year.
Well, what should I make out of this.
Indeed, Splash Damage has completely shifted its operations to free-to-play. Its first title to come from WarChest, iOS strategy game Rad Soldiers, is free-to-play, while Splash Damage’s next two games – a PC title later this year and a console game next year – will also both be free-to-play (Wedgwood describes them as “Free-to-plAAA”).
And If I’m right only a small portion of their staff (around 6 people) is working on rad soldiers. So that leaves enough people working on a PC game. Of course you could question the source, gamasutra, but than I wonder why one of splashdamages employees linked the link himself if it’s full of bullcrap.
I still wasn’t expecting it, the full team working on Brink took 4 years, we’re barely over a year since Brink was released.
