The TI 99/4A was awesome, I used to love doing BASIC programs w/that. I made a high-jump game once that was fun as hell to play, little animated character and everything, but you had to write the program every time you played the game…It was about 6 typed pages long

It amazes me that 40 year olds are into gaming, as internet doesn’t exist that long
I kinda grew up with it
I don’t mind it, I think it would be cool seeing my dad do stuff like this

[/off]
the first computer i used and about which i was so keen, was a 386, bought by my father to the family when i was arund 10-12 yo, with 5,25’’ floppy, later equipped with a 3,5 one, however my oldest one is a 486 now but i get it much later. (and i burned it’s power supply some 1 weeks ago  ) have a working pI too but that was a also 486 and it will be again , its only temporarily p1 xD (486 mobo’s bios battery, lazy to buy a new one)
first games: some noname tv console around 6-8yo age. then at that 386: wings of fury, prince of persia, mario, golden axe, simfarm, more. later got in floppys from classmates (:P) 12-14yo age: wolfenstein 3d, gta1, et c

i can only program in turbo pascal (+ a little delphi experience). i h8 those web stuff, h8 any c or basic stuff too, h8 oop and in general all the modern stuff, i like old msdos when programming, windows when playing (otherwise h8 windows too XD) i will never want to learn program web stuff its enough fo me that i can configure my wamp server with tutorials :stuck_out_tongue:

but this is fvckingly big offing :s
