Umm there needs to be a “None of the Above” added or something. Since game is pretty much dead already, I dont think I will even waste my time downloading the DLC, let alone bother to check it out.

Haha, I have to say, Brink is the only game I feel some sort of guilt for recommending to friends. They’ve all given up on the game and have long stopped following it so first I’m going tell them about the DLC and hopefully have some people I know personally to play with.

Then I’ll create a new character with them and see if the DLC and update make it worthwhile to get to 24. If not, Brink goes back on the shelf for a long, long time. It’s not even worth trading in at this point.

I just can’t believe how excited you people say you are over two maps two attachments and a bunch of balance changes that wont really affect anything in the end

I will play it foe a few rounds then probably go back to BC2 where I can shoot down helicopters with a ****ing tank and do other awesome american like things

Troll post is just basically posting an ill reasoned post in a thread designed to cause maximum argument.

For instance…

“Umm there needs to be a “None of the Above” added or something” - picking apart the poll.

"game is pretty much dead " - it isn’t.

“dont think I will even waste my time downloading the DLC, let alone bother to check it out” - pointless stab in the back.

Feelgood normally posts expressive, constructive posts, this one isn’t. As we have BOTH pointed out, clearly and politely, Feelgood feels bad for recomending his friends bought the game, but WILL be playing and installing the DLC. You two bullrushing noobs call “Fanboy post whine whine” when you can clearly see, I am wondering why Feelgood has all of a sudden changed his tune.

First I check if there is a crosshair customisation / cvar unlock / alpha and waypoint size (blind medic syndrome) / friendly name size (and normal type cause that’s in bold !) / check if we can change body type in game / check if there is a better server brownser / make a point to the admin solutions / check the weapons / balance etc …
and only after i gonna test the maps maybe in better conditions !

like betatesters do ! cause we are betatester !

1st thing I’ll do is change my soldier to heavy body type and give the AGL one last try. (I’ve tried 100+ times to own with it.) It seems like it has sooo much potential. Also gonna see if the lobster could possibly become more deadly. I already own with it…

Yep SD did squat, great,knew I should have got rid of this crappy game same day I bought it and not listen to all the fanboys on the forum “Be patient”,“SD are great they won’t let us down” .Then I will swear a bit and make a sacred oath to never be conned by them again.

I’d caution you to temper your belief/expectation that the game will be “fixed”. As in, made vastly different. The DLC is mostly maps and weapons/tweaks and maybe a few surprises as far as spawn time adjustments and added hud features. Don’t expect maps to be changed, or radical changes. Just optimization. If you are a current fan (fanboy) it will add more content and fresh stuff. :slight_smile:
