Aimee - I already play her every game anyways. I would pick her as my only merc if I had to.
Arty - ez game, ez xp, ez life, ez godlike, ez Chapel only. And by all that I mean I will play Aimee anyways so I won’t get the easy xp
Sparks - Since I know my teammate medics won’t revive anyone and if I’m forced to play medic I will still be able to snipe
What mercs would you pick if you can only use 3 and why?
Medic or Objective Specialist-Fire Suppot-Assault
Because those classes are always useful and needed, no matter the map, game mode or who are your teammates.
According to the above, I generally use the following squad variations:
Aura/Sawbonez - Arty/Skyhammer -Nader (ALWAYS)
or
Proxy - Arty/Skyhammer - Nader
Sometimes I sacrifice medics for engineers (Proxy, I don’t like Fletcher and Bushwhacker) because I don’t like to babysit my team (clueless teams) =/
Medics
Always useful and needed, no matter the map.
Objective Specialist
Because uhb-jek-tivz and nueclear pancakes
Fire Support
For ev maps, ammo supply and crowd control
Assault
For crowd control and being annoying :3
Grenade Party!!! xD
Abbadon
Abaddon
Bushwacker, Phoenix, Arty. This has pretty much everything covered except quickly blowing up indoor generators and buildings around the corner. If I’d had at least semi decent aim I’d swap Bushwacker for Fletcher but as it is, the turret has a better KDR than me.
Proxy, Aura, Nader.
I love my agile Proxy; she’s getting the objectives done. (Also, Founder’s loadout).
Aura is a solid medic for most maps; her health station is mostly immobile, but that’s OK for most purposes. Unlike OP @AspergerKid, I’m confident my team will teamwork… (it often doesn’t, but I don’t give up hope).
As Damage Dealer, I like to switch between several Mercs… but in the end, I like Nader best. Her weapon, her voice, her looks, her story. You can do indoor damage, bounce nades off walls and around corners… fun times!
