if you mean smoother because client side is interpolating/predicting the frame snapshots so you don’t see the massive server lag and ping issues happening that then makes you warp all over the place and lets other players shoot you after your several feet behind walls. I would much prefer to go back to rtcw/et netcode over this bad unreal engine.

Because there are a lot of people trying to put that behind them, pretend it never happened. Bury their memories so deep they can’t be unearthed. Some had to go through weeks of therapy just to boot up another Splash Damage game. Careful with posts like these, someone might get triggered.
