Glad you like the vid. Stumbled over it when I was searching for the track played in this video. A couple days ago I watched the re-make of the movie “Maniac”, wich stars Elijah Wood. Well, the movie wasn’t that awesome imho, but the original soundtrack(very retro) and some of the other tracks used in this movie, were. The Track from the above vid; “Goodbye Horses”, performed by Q Lazzarus, plays in one scene quite at the beginning of the movie and it’s clearly a hommage to “Silence of the Lambs”. The movie is nowhere near as great as Demmes classic thriller though. Maniac is filmed in “first person”, yup, the entire time. And even though I got used to it after a while, it never did anything for me. It would’ve been enough to switch into the ego perspective every once in a while; for example, when he got his “headaches”, or when he’s killing his victims, etc…, but not the whole time. After all, not a very satisfactory experience, but I found this brilliant matchup on YT and I’ll probably go and buy me the Maniac OST from Amazon.

PS: Ever wondered how “Buffallo Bill” looks like now? Ted Levine is a real Chameleon and shows what acting really stands for. I mean you can’t be more diverse than playing Jame Gumb(Buffallo Bill) and Cpt. Leland Stottlemeyer(from Monk).
