The Barracks UI could do with some streamlining/organization, and a lot of people reference the closed beta UI in suggestions. Are there any plans, long-term or short, for changes to the Barracks or UI at large?

You said that Cool augment is going to retire. Do you mean that our current loadouts with Cool will get updated or only that future loadouts will not have Cool and Cool on old cards won’t undergo changes?

If we do some simple math, and the growth is linear and not affected by time:
10 boosters = 30% increase
“Same rate as normal cases” = 33%
33% - 3% = 100% Case Drop Regular Rate

Ta-da, math.
The only reason I don’t expect there to have a time variable is because I don’t believe SD would put that much work into it.

Come on, I don’t think they would just spit in everyone’s face like that. Of course they would replace it with something else! The only way I see them redo-ing the system is if they introduced a new perk to takes its place that was stronger than Cool, so they would need to re-balance cards.

I’d like you guys to talk a little bit about gun sights. You’ve acknowledged in the past that some of the iron sights are misaligned and therefore allow the use of mumble crosshairs, but can you talk a little bit about adding additional sights? I do vaguely remember on one of the streams they mentioned it and said it would likely never be done, but I’m curious as to why? I’d love to see certain guns have more than just an iron sight (grandeur, dreiss etc) and I know many many many others are thinking the same thing. Having a range of sights we could pick from and equip (like trinkets) would be amazing but I’m not expecting that to happen. Would there also be any eta on when we can expect the iron sights to be fixed?

I really should have read the comments before posting up my one… So yeah, just +1 for the sights. I am sure I remember you guys saying it would never be a thing but even if it isn’t it would be nice to know why. Customisation is great for keeping people interested, so sights you can equip would be awesome. It might even give us something to spend our in game credits on, or I guess they could be sold in the store for real cash. I personally wouldn’t mind either way.

Dunno, there is always that one guy that defends badly designed elements and swears that it’s viable which is why he uses it, no matter how much evidence is against it.

And I totally remember that one guy for the Cool augment.

Will we ever be able to trade in/reroll special event loadout cards? I’ve got cards that I don’t want and some I’ve even got doubles of. I’m fine with not being able to do anything if you have just one single SE card, but having a double of an SE card there should be some way to reroll or trade it in for something else.

Do you plan to level the health/speed relationship between mercs ? It was originally put in the works as a balance feature, but it got completely scrapped when you did changes on nader and vassili. Some light mercs would definitely require forgetting it for them as well. Especially proxy, who is, although one of the most played merc, far from a wise engineer choice.

Consistency.

Getting stuck on walls/invisible walls/EV/Ammo crates.

Thunder’s concussive nade. You get flashed when you shouldn’t and you don’t when you should. Through walls, when facing away completely etc. When it stuns, when it flashes. Why some of the times the flash covers up your hud while sometimes it doesn’t? (Using minimap while flashed is pretty much the only thing I can do as long as the flash hasn’t covered it up half the times.)

Snitch device, will there never be a vertical range? Will there be a pulse like HB sensor to better spot it? To tell apart enemy and ally snitch devices.
Also snitch can be picked back up, why not HB sensor?

Kira’s laser bugs, any progress with those? Invisible lasers and consistency of pointing the laser. Will we be able to point the laser closer near walls again.

Abilities such as hp/ammo stations, turrets, mines, stickys, snitch, HB sensor, being destroyed through walls by artillery/airstirke/orbital laser or just being destroyed while still being greatly out of range of those abilities. Will we just have to accept it being intentional or will this be fixed?

A big extra question…

Sniper rifles, while I’d like to think those guns should require skill and higher skill should be more rewarded, why are they being toned down to appeal more casual players?
Jump sniping got nerfed which honestly just hurt the higher skilled snipers, while it’s ok to have bodyshots that nearly one shot the lower hp mercs. (As well as enabling Aimee to deal 98,75 damage with Fel-ix bodyshots on debuffed targets.)
There isn’t any real pro scene nor are the ranked queues active enough to pull the statistics to justify the jump snipe nerf, why the decision to nerf the skill ceiling and reduce the overall effectiveness of a specific merc that isn’t even considered problematic?
Some of these balancing decisions have been questionable. (And that’s why I doubt this question will ever be answered.)

  1. Where do you see Dirty Bomb heading in the next six months? One year? (in terms of content, updates, and competitive stuff)

  2. Will the game be receiving a full-release any time soon or is that something for the distant future?

  3. Do you think the Dirty Bomb team has stayed true to the original values and ideas with which the game was made?

  4. Is there any chance that the Dirty Bomb team will be expanding in the future? Or is it meant to stay as a small team?

  5. Will the loadout card system ever be replaced by something with more variability and customization for the players?

  6. What do you think is most important to Dirty Bomb right now, or at least, should be the highest priority?

  7. Are there any current plans for a future generation of loadout cards? New Augments or weapons?

  8. Many people feel that content is lacking to a certain degree in Dirty Bomb, what do you think about this and what do you think your team is going to do about it? Put things in higher priority etc…

  9. Would you ever consider doing a “balance change of the week” where the team takes something that the community has been asking about, and gives it some tweaks. then, at the end of the week a poll could be put out asking if the change was positive/negative/no change.

Sorry for the huge list, but I think these are some fairly important and straight forward to answer questions IMO.

Can u guys have in mind, for the next patches, the mouse input lag while v-sync is activated?
I had a bad pc and i played with v-sync off for obvious reasons, but 2 months ago when i bought a GOOD pc and when i activated the v-sync I detected a bit of mouse input lag. I tried limiting the fps and creating a custom resolution but nothing of that worked. I actually play with high settings 1920x1080p resolution and annoying screen tearing (aim is more important)
