we need a G36 kind fo weapon

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #21

@raspberryFighter. there is a DMR for the G36 just say G36 becasue I dont know its full name.
I know the HCAR is basicly a modern BAR, and i said it was mroe proper becuase its the effing year 2050, it makes mroe sense for the HCAR to be than the BAR.
And there are full auto 7.62 weapons.
and I jsut ment a the G36 to be liek that. Its jsut a game (also) why not jsut model a Baattlerifle after the G36
the Bishlock is based after the thompson Smg!
the timik is an AK 47 YET it fires faster than the M4 insted of hitting harder.
And the G3 was full auto now i remember it! (from BF3, far cry 2 and uncharted)

As tacticool the G36C is (the original is very much the most ally of the bunch, but I assume you all aren’t into that), the M4 basically fills that role.

Also, on the M4 vs Timik:
The AKM the Timik is based off of has a cyclic ROF much smaller than some of the lowest gas settings and models of the M4. The Timik having a higher ROF is not accurate and should be changed. It’s also worth mentioning that Soviet 7.62 makes NATO 7.62 look small (Google pics if you want). I would argue about wound channels, but whatever you want to believe, the M4 should have a higher accuracy, ROF, and DPS, but the Timik should have more damage per shot, range, and perhaps heavier aim punch given to the target.

@incoming. thats the idea with the rifle i dont want it to work as a G36 i want it to look liek one

(KattiValk) #24

Are you sure? The actual G36 looks like this:

That’s plenty ally, but lacks the high speed low drag feel that the Compact has.

Not that I’m against more German steel (read: polymer that melts with continuous fire) in the game.

(SmOKy) #25

probably Call it
Gre36Cek (no problem with other name)
Accuaracy (not sure if its called so :# ) Medium
Firerate Medium
31bullets

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #26

@incoming. Yep i like the lok of it, and i also thign hacing it with an integrated red dot sight as IRL

@SmOKy I was thknging mor eof a battle rifle but i liek you idea to

(KattiValk) #27

It’d probably be disliked as it’s extremely restrictive of your FOV. Still, it’s nice seeing some non-operator stuff every now and then.

Soviets run 3 different 7.62 ammos, 7.62x25 (Tokarev Pistol) 7.62x39 (AK and SKS) and 7.62x54r (SVT40)

7.62x51 is Nato/win3.08

edit: guns mentioned are ones I have, fun stuff

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #29

@Incoming the only operator weapon I liek its the crotzni :stuck_out_tongue:

(KattiValk) #30

Yes, I was referring to the full sized rifle round used by the SVD. The round used by the AK is obviously to be compared to the NATO 5.56 (though we do use full size 7.62 NATO in BRs).

I have actually fired an SKS, it was good fun, especially loading it. So satisfying.

@astoundingShellfish When a weapon or solider looks operator, they look like SF or something out of a Michael Bay movie with maximum tactical do dads strapped on them. Ally however means more BA looking, think of the GPMG and BR era as well as large ammo belts worn over shoulders. Basically Vietnam.
