Vassili, Bushwhacker, and Rhino in Free Rotation!

(FaieZ) #21

While we appreciate your putting in your comment, I would suggest expanding on it in the Mercenary Discussion board. Maybe explain what kind of nerf you have in mind or why you think he is too strong now? I believe some existing discussions are already in progress in there. Feel free to contribute to them!

Thanks!
Put the damage on the machine gun lower.

“IF” being the keyword. I played with a sniper-dude once, and he was doign a great job - guarding C4, understanding the heartbeat-sensor, and generally switching nicely weapons.

The current Vassili are glued to the floor, and to their scope. Every team today had at least one full-time Vassili, up to 6.
We don’t need to discuss the thought-process of someone who sees 3 Vassili in his team and thinks “I will be most useful as sniper now”

Don’t get me wrong, when I’m salty and we’re losing, I might as well work on my sniping-skills - but not while on attack and almost winning.

Long story short, this rotation really pisses me off, nothing but charatcers that liek to stay still. This includes Sparks, people like to snipe with her, and she’s defensive by nature, adding to the defense-heavy situation we already have.

Sure, it’s an explosive (Nader/Fragger) field-day, but that doesn’t help when teh rest of your attacking team is guarding the backyard and watching the trees grow.

On a completely unrelated note - why are there nets around the trees? To keep birds out? Or is it just to not render leaves? :D
I agree on your points. I also don’t like much the vassili rotation because as a vassili disciple i prefer when the oppo team can’t counter snipe me, so i can go full support without worries to constantly check for the opponent’s vassili.
As for people that stick with vassili despite being already enough on the team, it really depend. There are stubborn (useless in the team) people like that, but others (like me) that are only good with vassili may think that they are more useful throwing sensors and killing people than going 5-15 with an assault/support class.

I see Vassili’s all the time who keep on scoping, ignoring bleeding out team mates next to them. Also they don’t notice knifers coming from the back etc. They just don’t check what’s happening around them, they only want kills.

The best is joining a match on the Attacking team, and seeing 3 of your 5 teammates are Vasilli, none of whom ever leave your spawn. Facepalm

I learned this week, that offensive team has to protect the backyard at all costs. There is also a little bug I’m too lazy to report: after you successfully defended your spawn, the game somehow thinks you lost and doesn’t credit you teh win. This is very strange, as none of the defending opponents touched our backyard for longer than 30 seconds!

I admit that I didn’t contribute much, I went roaming around repairing a stupid armored car-thingy, so I see how it’s my fault that the Vassili army got overrun. They had tough opponents too, they moved a lot and jumped occasionally.
