He can kill people 1vs1. Good. He can sneak on people and kill them from behind. Good. In that time I can run in with Fragger and Stoker and get 5 times the kills I get as Phantom luring in a corner. Also, try Phantom in a comp game or a private match against people who aren’t blind and deaf. You won’t do much. It’s not lowlvl-pub-noob-shrecking.

They’re a little better at it than certain companies (like say a certain company that has an amazing martial arts fantasy game BUT DOESN’T TILL USE WHEN THE NEXT UPDATE IS TILL LAST SECOND PUTTING US IN A PANIC TO GET THE NEXT WEAPON UPGRADE ONLY TO REVEAL THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR UPGRADE PATH IF YOU GOTTEN TO A CERTAIN POINT IN THE UPGRADES [anyone who plays said game probably knows which one I’m talking about]). But, yeah, it would be nice to be informed about actual upgrades, maybe in some form of public testing. Like a PTB version they run on weekends or something (HINT, HINT).

I dislike the holiday. … It’s a bit frustrating getting this from SD. I know the video is intended as a joke, but what comes across (at least to me) is that they’re hearing all our ideas and our wants for Phantom to be good against higher skilled players and to be team oriented: instead choosing to ignore the requests on purpose. I’m sure it’s not the intended message, but it’s very saddening to see this form a dev team who consistently puts out good work otherwise. - I was overjoyed with Stoker, Pheonix, and RedEye.
