I second that motion.

The fact that people are complaining about screen shake (because “randomness”) when it doesn’t change where the shots go and the fact that sniper rifles could completely dominate games is rather interesting actually. It’s the only counter to a sniper because that it requires them to pause so that they’re are sure the shot is lined up perfectly with the target. But on the other hand it is countered by automatics.

Even though I stated the above point, I’m not going to give this guy any slack just because.

The thing is…why should it affect hipfire???

Shouldn’t it only affect you when aiming down sight with any weapon?

I am talking about both, aimpunch affects you while aiming down sight, and while hipfiring

I think it should only affect you while aiming, so you can shoot from the hip and not have anything hinder you.

if then thats bad.
we dont need shaking on hipfire

@Watsyurdeal would you mind keeping this thread to the shaking caused by explosions, and not by enemy’s shooting you? the aimpunch problem is too big, and i fear that if we include it here, SD wont fix the ‘small’ problem that is C4 and airstrikes ruining your aim. which is what i created this thread for.

I think if anything they should fix all of it, it’s not hard to grasp.

No shaking from the explosions, and no aim punch that moves the crosshair. The game would be better without both, if they have to keep for snipers then keep it specifically while adsing, and have purely visual aimpunch like in Enemy Territory.
