Yeah but so far they’ve done a great job at selling it as a multi-platform game so I can see why they want to keep that appearance up. At least having the PC stuff released earlier is not-done.

Tend to find multiformat releases are mainly due to expected awful reviews.
I mean if pc version comes out a month before 360/ps3 and is crap it’s going to affect console sales badly and vice versa.

I can’t link the thread with quote atm (if someone else could I’d appreciate it). But basically they said after the DLC they would focus more heavily on PC development and not necessarily release all content at the same time on all platforms anymore. Not completely relevant, but I figured it was related.

Considering that they released a patch for the PC that still has yet to be released on the consoles I would say that they are focusing more heavily on the PC. (At least for now.)

if it isnt today we can expect it on the 12th for sure.

BTW: up until now there was a much heavier console focus (i think?) i mean with the stats site and all, and a couple other things i just cant seem to remember.

I guess they released the PC patch because steam will let them patch whenever they want. They rolled the patch into the DLC release so that they only have to submit once with Sonay & Microsoft for certification instead of once for DLC and once for the patch.

“early July” is rather subjective. Obviously the last day of July is not early July, but I could see how anything before the 1/2 way mark ='s early July. I’m not saying this to dispute semantics, SD clearly stated it would be ready in early July and considering this is the second announcement it pretty much better be. However, I am pointing out that early July is a pretty nebulous set of terms. It’s difficult to interpret your statement as fact when to someone else that very well could be early July.
