Don’t make your textures with paint.

Paint Pro Shop will ask the size before you make a new picture. So be sure you use the right sizes (64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512…)

And save as .jpg in your folder.

if you have made a map then i would surgest starting a new thread advertising your map

in the thread you should give
-map name
-objectives
-some screens never go amiss
-and of course a download link

then feedback/bug reports will come to you

some people like trick jump, some like xp save and poison needles et all, I personally don’t, but I don’t care, it just shows what a diverse bunch of gamers the game has attracted, thanks to the mappers and modders that have taken the time to try add more styles of game play to ET hopefully it will continue to do so

Omg Higgins, you can’t even spell my name right. You damn idiot. Trickjumping is very popular in ET. So you better stfu. There are probably more servers rotating trickjump maps then servers that rotate the ‘goodlooking’ stuff you’ve been giving positive comments for so long.

It’s easy for you to give negative comments. You don’t like trickjumping that’s ok. But a lot of other people do. My maps are downloaded a few thousands times so don’t call them ‘crap’. They’re just too hard for a fool like you.

I bet your like 14 or some thing, toiletman. All you do with mapping, is plonk a load of brush work in, texture the whole thing with one image, and call it a map, which lags worse than if you had 28kbs.

By the way, ive been mapping for a long time, You cant call me a ‘newbie’, have you even made a map your self Cerberus?

Ive probably made others that I cant think of. You can see from playing from the first to the last, how good ive got over time.

Lets get to the point, you steal official map parts, user maps, and make a shitty looking map, that you never built. Fine, maybe you added a few shitty brushe’s here and there, which where fully textured, makingyour shitty toilet map lag like crap sliding down a window.

You are attacking a lot of TJ-maps with this statement. I am afraid that you will allways loose that fight since a lot of TJ-maps use “the original jumps” which are allways “ripped” from the official 6 W:ET maps.
Most TJ-maps look shitty since they are just made for TJ-ing, not playing for W:ET objectives. Even if there are decent or even good looking ones (Chocojump and Maniac mansion come to mind), you’ve still got to take in account that it takes time to slap all these jumps together in one huge map so lighting may be the least of their worries.

Just my opinion. I couldn’t fight the urge to post this.
And that’s all, I think this “discussion” has gone too far allready. :frowning:
