well there is something wrong whit my PC cause, well i have made an pk3 befor whit all needed stuff but it dosent show up in game, therefor i say that i cant make pk3

Are you testing the pk3 on a clean install of ET?
If you are testing it in your gaming installation, you might have too many pk3’s in the etmain folder already.

well, i have 3 installs for ET, 1.for online gaming, 2. for map testing etc, 3.mod making

use more diff textures, add details to it (portholes/pipes/hatches) and its good to go!

well, i ahve to say that those pics that you might have seen is old for me now cause i have aded much more now, adn i was supposed to use CoD1 textures but i cant find my CDs xD

That would make it impossible to release your map legally - you can’t use textures from other games without explicit permission.

cookie any chance of making your .map source avidable. its extreamly hard to build a ship and have it all looking in the right proportings and a nice map like this could be used by a more experienced mapper to make a pretty good alpha map shoing gameflow proportions before going on and adding a bit more detail

with that said your doing a great job on your own too so stick at it

Well you make your own textures that look like metal then. There are some good ones to start with in ET. Also the ships were painted, so you don’t really need a metal texture.

if i understand right, you want the source map or i should send it to an experienced mapper (i dont know anyone), i have allready said in an reply that i will make the source map downloadable whitout any scripts and objective entities

imo realse the source map as early as posible. experienced mapper will probably have there own ideas about gameplay etc so making a basic map into one with there intended layout would be much easier then trying to reverse your work and then build there own

well, its still some work to do on it like radio equipment, ammo/ equipment storage, details, guns etc, i think it will be out in the end of this week

Carnage do you want the battleship? i have updated it whit 4 dynno objectives and script now

i would definatly like to see the battle ship but have no desier for dyno objectives etc. its unlikely that i would build a map with it but just having a plain ship could be interesting to expolre what kinda objectives could be carried out on a map like this wich is pretty new to ET

and you will defiantly get some pretty new gameplay imo comared to the pretty open ET areas could be interesting

also when thinking of objectives try take a little more thoughtful aproch to things. syno objectives are easy and can be fitted to most senatios but dont realy have to originailty that a custom map can explore. also i read that when the stock maps were developed a new uses of the constructions scripts had to be though of. fuledump you have bridges, radar forward spawn at CP, goldrush tank/tank barriers etc. thinking up one for your own map would defo be a nice touch
