It says labs is part of the map “pool.” Round 4 is supposed to be labs, but couldn’t they just switch it out for another map? Quakecon starts August 4th. I just don’t believe the DLC will be out August 2nd (I’m assuming a Tuesday release). With still no announcement, I don’t see it coming out before August 9th. Here’s hoping I’m wrong.

What if those who signed up for the competition already have access to that map, Labs?
We don’t, but I really really wish that we did. I fly out for QuakeCon on Monday and won’t have access to a computer on which to practice labs after I leave. If the map isn’t out before Monday evening I could end up playing nearly completely blind in a tournament finals match, which is certainly not my idea of fun.
Also, I’m curious who thought it was a great idea to use a completely untested map for a finals match. Based on how “balanced” the original maps were I’m not going to trust any new map to be anywhere near balanced until I’ve had a chance to actually play on it for myself.

I believe that this forum adds a new page whenever the previous page reaches the limit for posts but there is no actual new page until someone makes a new post. Confused me quite a bit when I first joined the SD forums.
