Every skin above bronze has alternative skin variants now, including silver (blueish gray digital camo / darkblue gray carbonfiber pattern). And Imo it is a good thing while it does increase the grind for the perfect loadout cards, it also gives more options. Personaly I was never looking forward to getting one of the gold cards or even humored the idea to trade to one up, since gold was way to garish for me. But those new black red patterns did change that. I mean not enough to make me buy elite cases or hardcore grind for loadoutcards…but who knows maybe I get weak one day.
And that is exactly what a F2P title who’es sole income is from cosmetics have to do. Leave you wanting and trick you into spending money for it.

That’s true. However getting that perfect card is near impossible if i must say.
If you want the perfect augments = low chance already. then you need that gun you wanted and the Melee weapon u wanted heck even the secondary… and then after all that hellish search for that perfect card u get the wrong skin… the one u absolutely find filthy

Correct. I’ve got about 2/3 of the various skins for each merc collected at the moment, I’m waiting for a few people I contacted about some of those I’m missing before making a new release of the Genome.
In the mean time, if you want to lend a hand, the skin variants I’m missing at the moment are:
S = “Urban Silver” Silver
S2 = “Carbon Fiber” Silver
G = “Crown Gold” (yellow) Gold
G2 = “Swiss Red” (red) Gold
G3 = “Bamboo” (green) Gold
C = “Anodised Blue” (blue) Cobalt
C2 = “Fragment” (grey) Cobalt
O2 = Beta Fighter Obsidian

In the meantime, I ran into a link to this gallery from SD weapon modeler BCOG. It not only showcases some very impressive weapon models, but also reveals the “official” names of many skins so I have updated my list above accordingly.
Also, here’s a preview of what I’m working on. The real thing will have one page for each merc with Obsidian slots only for those for whom it applies, but I wanted this sheet to include a sample of every skin so it can be used as a reference for the skin names:
So want a Red Hochfir Nader, don’t remember the name but it had spares and reload while sprinting.

Woah nice find seems like there are some sweet skins waiting (love the mud/paintsplat, hexagon and splashdamage one) and maybe / propably some custom sights ^^.
Good job with the skin list btw. keep it up.
Yeah hopefully we’ll see some of these skins and attachments make their way into the game some day…
By the way, I cleaned up my wanted list above a bit as master collector @Sniff just sent me all the missing Silvers except the Sparks and the two missing Gold Arty… B)
id like to see a “buy back” card system for gold and above cards.
ATM IF i trade up and dont get what i want then i need to trade up again etc eventually i will have gold cards that can no longer be traded up) and still they might not be cards i dont want - an option to sell them back for even a nominal amount would at least be something of an improvement of the current system
Oh wow. I hope we’ll get a function in the future to choose skins. Would love some bamboo skins and some swiss.
