The True Problem with Shotguns (and Aura)
First things first, bubblesKeyboard is one of an extremely vocal minority claiming to speak for a majority of the community, as long as the devs are aware of this, its not an issue.

After extensive play time as Aura, I can say this is all a matter of skill lvl and pub games, in pubs i can choose to support my team or be selfish and go solo flanking. low skilled players drop like flies, high skilled players grind me into dust, healing station means nothing 1v1 if your opponent has better aim and movement.

In comp 5v5 Aura will have to support her team, so 1v1s against her should he highly unlikely anyway.
Shotguns being OP has been a topic of discussion throughout the past few beta phases. You can look up one of @PixelTwitch 's videos where he discusses the blend of light mercs with shottys messing stuff up. Even on some of my threads other people talk about this. But I digress

The devs are aware of this and actually implemented a patch that was supposed to fix this by increasing shotgun spread circa 10% but still people say its OP. My threads are merely for discussion. If you disagree, feel free to disagree vocally. Being vocal is better than being quiet.

And yes this problem is only in pubs. Comp 5v5 is a different story.

Welcome to Dirty Bomb, by the way

Healing staions

agree with Amerika on healing stations. we need more people talking ways to balance the healing station rather than talking about if the station needs balancing. We should be past the stage of working out if its broken. IT is so lets just focus on best ways to fix it.

Sawbones and supporting team snipers

The point is sawbones is a combat front line medic. going in usually just behind the heavy gunners to lend fire suppression or to pick up dropped teammates and give health. OR sometimes the 1st to dash out draw fire / distract / heal up while the heavy gunners dive in on the distracted enemy etc Lots of strategies.

To say sawbones should be “sitting at the back next to the sniper just feeding them pax” is a gross waste of the character.

Sure, as im making my way to the front lines and happen to pass a team sniper, i will drop a pack next to them. Snipers tend to be static so having a pack next to them is a good little support. But bear in mind if they get HS (counter snipped) having a med next to them wont help as that is non revivable and if they get shot normally and need more than that one pack i left them and so die well they dont have so long a way back from spawn to their rear position as do the guys fighting front line.
