Do you all not tell your teammates sorry for TK at the time you do it over VOIP, or is this for TK that happen on standard matches only? Seems redundant to say sorry in game for TKing a buddy, then go on a forum to say sorry again to the same person.

on console, it can be difficult and/or too time consuming to type out a message to say ‘sorry’. Add in the fact that only about 25-30% of the ps3 ive gamed with have a headset.

Also, this thread gave me an opportunity to poke fun at myself. If you can’t laugh at yourself, you can’t laugh at others .

I’m hoping to not make that many appearances on this thread, but apologies to either MastaPiff and/or monogenes1 for that annoying takedown on sec tower today. def my bad.

and yeah - pc dudes, if we had a keyboard available, or if dumbasses like me had a mic, (according to Os and others, I’ve become ‘that guy’ (ugh) we might say it right then. but i like the penance/public shaming of this thread.

Its not all that bad though cause when we all have mics or keyboards and your the only one who doesnt and something goes wrong or someone does somethin stupid we can all deny it and just blame you cause you cant do anything about it!!! LOL MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :tongue:

I have this problem too! Someone comes running towards me with a reddish tinge to them and I auto shoot to find its just some bad lighting and a team mate finding cover. :eek:

Has anyone played a match 8v8 w/ friendly fire on? given the chaos of the chokepoints, I’m wondering what would happen - i know I’ve developed a few bad habits (e.g. spray into the crowd since there’s no penalty). (added bonus to FF-on? shooting at someone who might be disguised operative actually has consequences if you’re wrong) as AWM and I discovered (above) :slight_smile:

I have. I’ve played more FF on games than anything…so even when I’m in FF off games, I am naturally holding my fire when everyone is grouped up. Sometimes it gets me killed…hehe.

this happened to me, i jumped into an old-skool match with my 8v8 ff-off brain going, and proceeded to bork my team for a few minutes (sorry again mastapiff, lol). then later that night, back in FF-off 8v8 i was overly hesitant for a bit. got me killed a few times.

was hoping not to make a repeat appearance, but when I do, it’s with style.

i got Oz70NYC a couple times in the matches last night. once was a dumbass grenade splash damage over-exuberance, the other was when he was disguised as the guy i had just tangled with 1v1. i was trying to figure out how he had popped back so quickly…then he changed into Oz as i was gunning him down. doh

we’re cool though. :slight_smile:
