Sure looks like his anyway. I don’t have an in game close up of Vassili to compare it to, anyone else got one they can post?

Kind of looks like Vassili, but actually Vassili’s nose seems to look bigger, I dunno.
The graphic settings also seem to differ so its hard to say. Or maybe its just the lighting?

They look very similar though.

Na after looking at it for a long time, I don’t think they are the same. Just similar.

Same graphics taken with the face of Vassili and Phantom, Phantoms is lesser res most likely because his face isn’t really mean’t to be seen.

Yes, that’s probably the reason for the graphical quality drop on Phantom’s face. I believe you are right.

Actually I think I’m wrong, back is Ye Olde’ Extraction days, mercs had different cosmetic changes. So maybe, just maybe Phantom could have a option to not have a mask on.

While they look pretty cool, I’m a little conflicted regarding adding more skins.
The default ones are very quickly recognizable (well they are now that I’d played a bunch), but adding alternates to everyone could really confuse things for me.

I know there are some special founders cards kicking around with different skins (like Saw Bonez) and I was like… WOAH wtf merc is that? Until I realized it was Saw Bonez… lol

These two were never in the game, they are both samples of what used to be known as Elite skins. Kind of the equivalent of the Founders skins (i.e. completely different alternate models as opposed to simple recolor/retexture of the defaults), no way of telling if they will eventually be made available or not.
