You lucky bast***!!! Szakalot is right, this is probably the best Saw loadout available at the moment (at least it’s the one I pray for every night before I go to bed )

It’s perfect like that, thanks!

Updated “wanted” list in first post, start hunting those Fletcher loadouts…

I tried to improve Arty’s Loadout picture : I manually added augments icons on top of it to make them more readable. It is not perfect tough.http://i.imgur.com/TS9BOwE.png.
I have another idea : make the image pdf files with tooltips on the icons showing, the name and description of the augment. But I could not make something worthy enough yet :frowning:

Here is a try : http:/pogs.free.fr/DB/Arty.pdf
I only added comments on the D72 Card. Mouse over the augment icons and you will see the name and description. It looks perfect when viewed with PDF-Xchange Viewer. It looks crappy with Adobe Reader :(.

Note : for some reason, when displaying it in your browser, comments are not shown. Download the file and display it in your pdf viewer.

How to :

Use a desktop publishing software (Serif PagePlus or InDesign). I personaly use Pageplus as it’s more user friendly

  • Create the PDF importing Djiessse’s images
  • Add the Augment icons on top of the images (can be taken from http://dirtybomb.gamepedia.com/Augments)
  • Save into pdf
  • Open the pdf into Adobe Reader DC
  • Display Comment Tools
  • Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom in
  • Add a note (bubble icon) and place it on an augment icon
  • Right click Properties
  • Set colour to white
  • Opacity to 0%
  • Make it default aspect
  • Remove author and note in General Tab and click on OK
  • Open http://dirtybomb.gamepedia.com/Augments
  • Double click on the note and add the corresponding Augment name and description.
  • Save the PDF.
  • Open it with PDF-Xchange Viewer for best result.

Wouldn’t it be simpler to make a reference sheet with all the augments and their effects? After a while you should be able to recognize them and know what they do just with the icon, so that seems like a lot of work to tag every one of them like that…

(-PogS-) #27

First, in fact you don’t need to tag them all, just the first row as they are the same. Second It would be possible to recognize them if, they were readable enough, but that is hardly the case. Third the point of it is to give info to new players, so to me if you don’t show the augment info, the interest of the sheet is lessened.

Here is my try at making a layout for the loadouts : http://i.imgur.com/IXcQ8Bu.jpg
As you can see there are placeholders.

Looks pretty good! If I can make a suggestion, I would include the weapon info on the default loadout for consistency. Also, keep in mind that some “families” will have 5 cards and some augment sets may require more space than what you have there. If you want to use a fixed layout, you’ll need to cater to the worst case.

(-PogS-) #30

I took your remarks into account and came up with this :http://i.imgur.com/cdfesI9.jpg
Regarding the augment space, I will process the text with a Desktop publishing software so it will be perfect.

Looks like something went wrong when you generated the picture, your augment icons and card frames are all messed up.

Personally, with this kind of layout, I would scale down the Default and Obsidian cards to be the same size as the other so you can maintain the alignment of the blocks. Either that or put the Default back on the last line so all the loadouts with differing layouts are grouped together.

(-PogS-) #32

The mess up comes from the export from the DPS I used. Weird. I’ll fix that up. In rthe end i’ll make a pdf file. It’s gonna be lighter and easier to download and display.
Yeah you’re right, I don’t know why I had the obsidian larger. As for the deafault one, i’m not fully statisfied by the look of this block so i’m gonna rework it.

(ironclad0) #33

I have a quick question, lets say I want a loadout card like R51 Proxy, how would I obtain it. Do I to trade up one card that lead up to it with other silver cards, or do I have to use all the same card that lead up to it?

(Chux) #34

You just trade up and hope you get it. It’s random as far as I know

(-PogS-) #35

Guys can you please help me on my loadout design ? I need 1 loadout card screenshot of each type of metal for all mercs (full res).
