I think it’s more synonymous than inventor. The Matrix wasn’t the 1st to do bullet time, but it’s the most synonymous for it therefore easily identifiable.

well I can see linking bullet time to the Matrix…when I see a backwards bandana, I don’t think of Tupac at all…maybe Aunt Jemima.

I’d say Tupac is more globally known outside of the US than Aunt Jemima, I’ve not seen it myself on my euro hols any way… and def not in the UK. I’m not up on my bandana wearers, but i have heard of both of those so i knew what was meant either way :slight_smile:

I think the player has to wait for the next respawn wave after a bot dies, though the transfer can happen in one frame (if you are lucky) supposedly.

This means no odd skin transfer, and if a player quits, it will either be the same thing or the bot will take over the old skin (so no confusion).

And now for something completely different…

I totally want to do the number plate shoulder armor + sniper pony tail, those are two of the coolest character add-ons imo.

edit: Notice that four of the pictures (2 security, 2 resistance) have the (sniper) rifle from the cinematic trailer. The rifle is basically an amped up M40A3, I hope it has a really long bolt lever action going on so you only get one shot every 1+ seconds, so people don’t spam it. Gotta love the fact they added a long ranged gun to a close quarters game, because the most fun you can have with a sniper is no/quick/drag-scoping (hard scoping is boring, campy, cheap in some cases, and ruins the game for the average player). It will be less fun to no-scope though because it is (just a tad) better than MW2. I happened to be 2 K/D material at MW1-2 no-scopes, I’ll have to try my luck at dodging bullets in Brink, though I figure it will be easier for me since I’ve always felt limited by MW speed.

I hope none of you will follow the CoD crowd on K/D is everything though, because major camping would ruin this game. Rushing is so much more fun, which is precisely why I get longest distance travelled/most time spent sprinting in MW2, even when I have the intervention sniper (when the game is a 2-3 bullet kill system mind you) The longest I stop is to reload and regenerate, whereas other people think camping is fun (the sound of which [camping] makes me cringe).

Regardless, the game is so beast I probably won’t care, though the 3-4 bullet kill thing makes camping easier than it was when I thought it was 8 body, 3 head.

thanks darkangel. like he said when i think of backwards bandana i think of tupac. i dont care whether the game designers name a backwards bandana after tupac or aunt jemima, if thats really who think of thats just wierd, i would just love to have a backwards bandana as a customization choice. and seeing how none of the outfit displays shown so far have one, i would like to put that out there as a good choice.

yes these are pretty kool add ons, but i think a tupac bandana would complete this awsome customization

On the first image, neck is too long for the last two characteres. May be some colateral effect of the customization? Space for clothes? Stretch to match bound box? I can’t say.

Argh no way man! How can you rush through such an intricate and beautifully created world!?

At least for the first month I am going to go slow, and explore every nook and cranny to take in all the design elements and find all the secrets/shortcuts that were put in!!

Then when I have it down 100% I will move at a faster rate :slight_smile:

no one said they were impossible…the decision to have them or not wasn’t about if it was possible or not, it was about ‘should we add female chars and have less overall options, or make only males with lots of customization options?’…they chose the latter.

I prefer my women to be petite and ‘innocent’. Piercings and tattoo’s are big plus…I must just be a big weirdo.
