The BEST merc for Points/XP???

Phantom gets a lot of XP when you kill with melee due to the badges. With the gun he sure earns less[/quote]

most of xp from badges is for multikills. A single ace is 300 for triple, 400 for quad, and 500 for ace. Add one more kill and you get another 300 or so for a killing spree.

Badges for melee kills are very poor: one badge for first kill, than more for 5/10/20 kills.

Phantom sucks at xp cause he doesnt have any team support ability, and his killing potential mostly boils down to winning 1on1s, rather than scoring multiple aces

Phantom is really a poor boy in terms of EXP.

Bridge defender side: Aura, Arty/Skyhammer (maybe Kira), engineer of choice. Start with planting Healing station close to the door frame. When EV is repaired, switch to engineer, repair generator, kill yourself, switch to fire support and disable EV. When EV reached end, switch to Aura and plant healing station in objective room.

I guess there are ways to get even more XP, but this is a pretty easy way and reliable.
