  1. The base shader must appear before the rest of the shaders that depend on it.

  2. Do not use per-stage tcMod scale directives. Adjust the q3map_tcGen ivector numbers to change the texture projection, or use q3map_tcMod scale right after it. Per-stage tcMod scales cause a runtime hit, lowering framerate.

and it uses tcmod scale to

yeah I noticed that too, I had to move the base thing and put it above the rest.

Arghh, I think it took me 2 nights to get the easygen terrain working - including landmines :blah:

Terrain for Q3 engines was always regarded an advanced feature when it came out with the TA game/engine. It takes a good understanding of mapping and shaders to get just a basic test terrain to work.

I’m still having problems getting the map i import from easygen to actually show up as textured terrain in radiant, it just gives me red triangles in the shape of my terrain… i cant add a texture to it and when i try to de-select it it dissappears…
