Yes, I have had several instances of thses sorts of problems, as well. File managementhas been a pain in the rump, thus far. Now, (hopefully), I know better…I now have a folder called “Backups” in my etmain that has basically ALL my backups for radiant (further resubdivided accordingly…maps, scripts, textures…etc.

Now I just periodically drag all my stuff into there and overwrite the existing backup stuff. Files are (again, hopefully) safe from radiant scrutiny there.

i think it used that one because it loads them alphabetically so the copy came first.
(this is just a guess though)

ya, it makes perfect sense, actually…I just didnt realize the game engine went and loaded every-freakin-thing. Upon further thought, I realize it has to…can’t tell what shaders are in what file until it looks, not like the game engine uses the shaderlist…

just one of those little quirks that drives me nuts…never know if my problems are something I did wrong, or some crazy thing of which I am unaware…I guess they amount to the same thing :banghead:

anyway my sky is freakin’ gorgeous now, and all my own textures (made with the ol GIMP) so thanks e1…
