I think it’s good to have a balance between both high, medium, and low skill in the tester field. That way we can see how balanced things are on each level of player ability, as well as how the game plays in a mix of all skill levels. A lot of great players also are very smart and tend to discover the “best” ways to do things faster than most.

I have a few for you just off the top of my head (old school ET1 addicts, mostly) - I’d also suggest reyalp from the SD forums although I have lost track of him over the years, not sure if he still haunts. I have many more but I am still gathering current email addys, not always the easiest trick when you can’t say why you want it… :wink:

These guys are some of my best friends in real life, and helped me fall under the sexy spell that is SD. Das Monkey and I especially found a lot of ‘exploited plant positions’ etc together. Also… he’s got a longer tenure technically than me, that bastard.

But to reiterate, these guys are some of my best buddies, and they’re just as FPS crazy as myself. Less amazing, of course.

Edit If any of my BFF’s get invited, can I be notified please? That way I can celebrate properly with the right amount of booze and high fives?

Who was that Australian guy who posted long posts about balance and stuff on the old ETQW forums that were always well reasoned and thought out? Had lots of good ideas. Might have been a really good flyer. Was it nogen? The only other Australian I remember was the modder tinman tex.
