Oddly enough it used to be back in alpha.
There were heaps of cool things in Alpha, too bad SD didn’t stick to them, or more likely, money didn’t stick to them.

A lot of people seem to have a bit misunderstanding, so I’ll just clear some things up due to my bad. First off, the optics don’t have to change your ADS zoom, and so on, just improve your aim. For instance the Blishlok has a simple Red Dot Sight that doesn’t give any much zoom difference compared to other SMGs, and that’s kind of where I was going for. Secondly, custom optics do not have to apply for all weapons, specifically the sniper rifles and semi-auto weapons. I’m sorry if I did not make this clear, but hopefully this comment will reduce the confusion… Thanks to everyone who voted and reasoned their opinion!
Actually, this is not entirely correct
I can’t remember which dev it was but not long ago he was asking about what people thought about putting dot sights on the Dreiss and Grandeur IIRC. This was on the SD forums. However, I don’t know if this means they would simply replace the sights or start giving us personalized choices (like what the game used to have) for things like that.
I think that was Shoe… Not entirely sure, but I remember seeing him post on the forum or talk about it on a Dev stream or something.
Nah, it was a game dev (shoe is a CM). I just don’t remember which one and I didn’t bother to go search for it.
Hmmm idk then. I know what you’re talking about though. I remember seeing it somewhere too lol.
I wouldn’t mind a solid ACOG scope on the Grandeur or a holographic sight on the Dreiss.
I feel like we should at least have the choice to use an RDS for the Grandeur and Dreiss. I’d rather it not forced on you though.

Oddly enough I don’t recall that at all… The only difference wrt to sights back then was that the KEK came by default with the same sight the Blishlok now has.
i just want the option for iron sights or bishlok sights on each weapon with iron sights. scoped weapons should not get them and non scoped weapons shouldnt get scopes though
