You don’t have 20 members, what you have is 20 people saying they will play in your clan when the game is released. like I said earlier expect around 60-70% to leave or not join. Why?

  1. They might not like the game.

  2. They might be asked to join a different clan.

  3. They simply might just change their mind.

  4. Real life issues.

That in reality leaves you with around 8 members.

Also getting 20 members isn’t the problem its keeping them and maintaing that number as the months go on, people will leave so your recruiting quota must be higher than those leaving and if you want to increase your numbers it has to be even higher.

You are too right. No way to prevent people from leaving. Thats a possibility, like many others. Anyways, we’re going to continue with recruiting after Brink’s launch. Once the game launches, people we more then likely be getting into the game more. Im expecting Brink clans to become just as popular as MW2 clans. I seem to have forgotten why we have gotten on to the discussion of things that may happen. :stroggtapir:

Just didn’t want you walking into this blind thats all. I hope your clan is successful, trust me I have been there in the past and I know its difficult. Like I said its easy being in a clan but hard leading one so I have a lot of respect for people that attempt it.

and in coop you miss half of the game !!

@Laneljh It’s impossible to play comp with one faction only. It’s like playing CS comp with T only. It’s not going to happen…

In Stopwatch two Teams (A and B) fight against each other on one map. First team A attacks and sets a time (how fast they can finish the whole map) and then Team B attacks and has to beat the time and so on… As you can see, it’s impossible to play only one faction, and Stopwatch is the mode that will most likely be played all the time because it’s the most balanced mode which really shows which team is better :wink:

And the teams will be able to be two different parties, correct? Say I have a party of 8 clan mates; we start stopwatch mode. Now, we need an opponent. Will the game search out 8 guys for us to play against, or do we have to have that set up already?(for just regular matches. not clan matches)

I wonder if a ‘mercenaries’ style option will be present for those who want a quick game with random people, but don’t want to be matched against a clan or well honed team of friends.

Stopwatch means the teams swap after 1 game, so the team who defended first gets a chance to beat the attackers time. IE: you’ll have to play both parties in a clanmatch.

This is not some MMO where you pick one side and play for that.
I don’t think there’ll be many resitance-only clans for you to pick from for clanwars, but who knows, I could be wrong. I do however fail to see what the advantage is of picking one side. Tactics-wise it’s much smarter to play both sides, so you know what the possibilities of your opponents are.

Good luck with it though, at least you’ve got the honour of being the first Brink clanleader :wink:

Can’t play stopwatch, so it’s pub clan only ? USA only too, don’t forget to tell this to the people around here.

Also, for console? Seeya on the xbox live, don’t forget to bring lots of G points, this makes you look cool.

We are looking through other solutions to the problems people are saying this clan will have. But no, its not a USA only, its english speaking only. If you can speak english, then your good. All consoles. Ps3, PC, Xbox.

We have 2 Resistance only rival clans, their sites can be accessed through ours. And we got an offer to combine with one of them, which is an idea im considering. This is why I chose to start this a good time before launch of Brink :stuck_out_tongue: So I could get feedback and ideas from everyone.
