maybey u can make it posible to have thirth person in spec
so u can vieuw the player from back/front/left/right etc…

I like both suggestions of funRut.
It is always good to know where spectators are or what they are doing. And to see the player in thirdperson from spectator is also great because then you see also a bit surrounding of them. The best thing would even be that you are able to “modify” the thirdperson angle with your mouse…Well, that you can move your sight with your mouse around the speced player.

Especially for cheaters.
Useless feature, maybe only good for TJMod.

I don’t see a use for it at all? But I have seen it before. (Don’t remember which mod)

You also see surrounding of the players and like I posted in the MOD in progress Thread. You would be able to move your mouse (like a normal player) and with doing that the Thirdperson view changes its angle automatically and you can look arround the player like when you unspec him. That really simplifies things.

Yes the 3rd person view sounds cool, I meant the ability to see spectators on the minimap is useless.

the minimap thingy is maybey usseles so it should be enable/disable by a cvar so only if the server owner wants he can enable it :wink:

Personally, I don’t consider it useless. I like to know what the spectators are doing. But I hope all these things are done with cvars so admins can dis-/enable it. It is always the worst thing to force things. That may kill a mod!
