Well, if Sage and Pegazus dont mind…

Edit: I just noticed, post #36 is Sage’s 1000th post, congratulations! :D
Thx. What you mean if we don’t mind? This contest is came up by Avoc and me, so Pegazus doesn’t have anything to do with organising it… If you meant about releasing your work, yes it’s really great, but imo you should wait till the deadline.

Ok. So the deadline is moved to sunday night.

Ps. Mrlego now you have time to finish your nice work. Even tho I couldn’t see what wasn’t finished.

Hola!

This is something I worked on for the past 2 days. I started with 3 houses that I converted into ASE models. I copied and pasted these into my map, and rotated them just to create the illusion of a small village.Later on I created The church tower, wire poles, road and the ruined house. The sky - with the moon image - and fog are from an old unreleased map I did several years ago. Textures used are mainly from some of my previous maps…

I wanted some sort of “wide angle” image, but using the ‘cg_fov’ console command didn’t do the trick for me as it made the foreground distorted. therefore I took several screenshots and stitch those together in photoshop…

original ‘high resolution’ screenshot can be found here: http://www.files.wolfedit.com/cont_original_shot.jpg

A start to a new map ??

(Magic) #53

One thing - how did you manage to curve the pavement texture like that - looks great.

(TomTom7777) #54

Love the ingame wildfowl pics ZerOcool ! Add a couple of cartoon bubbles and some funny conversation and send them in to Northener as POTD. I guaranty a 9 or better for my vote.

(shagileo) #55

Hehe , all great contestants here. Maps go from very funny to a great ambiance. Keep it up

(Pegazus) #56

Nice work FireFly, that moon gives a great athmosphere.

(Qualmi) #57

would like to know that too. great picture…

(Pegazus) #58

I think he used the photoshop lens effect (if it was the lens filter) Also FireFly told it that he did the “wide angle” in photoshop.
If i am not mistaken

(IndyJones) #59

Seriously, how did you read my mind? I was thinking of making something like this, especially with a crescent moon
