They will shoot backwards.
Rogue en Vogue Update - April 6th, 2016

Removed random cross-hair offset adjustment that occurred as players were scoping-in
Really? Quick-scoping is a completely retarded mechanism imo. May as well allow perfect hip-fire accuracy. Like they removal of sway isn’t already OP enough. It’s going to be so easy to hit things. Can’t wait to get owned by some random level 5 CS:GO kid.
This update is going to change the way we play DB. 3 snipers per team are probably going to be very common on pubs and they will actually make a difference.
Worst update ever.[/quote]
Quick scoping is a skill, so why not?
Looks good for it content but i hope you fixed the bug when EXP is not rewarded (atleast for missions) after a game because i had this after the yesterday maintenance a lot.
The nerf on PDP is good, its the easy to go sniper and even newbs can kill someone by spray and pray with bodyshots, its hilarious. Well atleast they run out of ammo very fast but ya still its simply a little too easy.
I still think the Felix should get something because at the moment the only reason why i play it above the MOA is that it actually feels like a big sniper rifle unlike the MOA which feels weaker in terms of impact than an pistol. Oneshotting Squishies with a bodyshot is not what i intent but maybe add some additional damage on headshots so it becomes the only sniper which can oneshot Thunder and Rhino beside the other mercs with an headshot but in exchange lower the RPM a little more.
Awesome! Can’t wait for this, I’ve just gotten into sniping, and the random adjustment bothered me, so this will be good to make sniping more mobile.
Yeah, but it gives the sniper a realistic chance to win a CQC encounter, while SMG or shotgun type of mercs still have no chance to fight snipers at range. That’s a major balance change especially at high skill levels. And I think it’s way over the top if you consider the sway being removed also.
I can understand the MOA, but why the Fel-IX???
it was the gun you can already miss when shooting while moving left and right…
I just hope any other balance patch comes up other than snipers…
Phantom is going to fall down in to hell with debilitating scan, and Thunder is much more vulnerable to enemy fire with 160 HP…

Easy fix? Nerf his health back, that change was retarded anyhow.

People cry that snipers stay behind and don’t help the teammates do the objective. SD does something so skilled snipers are actually encouraged to go near objective and people still complain they can kill people at cqc. There is no win i guess.
This sounds fun. Gonna be a nice little change. Although I don’t think the 50% hip-fire accuracy thing was needed… I mean 50% on top of what it was already? Good god loool.
“We will give you no more sway! No more random crosshair adjustment when scoping in! BUT! don’t you fuckin’ shoot from the hip because if you do, we made it so that your bullet is reversed and hits you instead. That’s right. You shoot from the hip, you’re dead. So don’t fucking do it!” -SD
Alright… alright.

Thank you, much appreciated.
PDP-70
- Increased hip-fire spread by ~50%
MoA SNPR-1
- Increased hip-fire spread by ~50%
FEL-IX
- Increased hip-fire spread by ~50%
No scoping with a sniper is a last resort in the face defense for most people, but this just…God damn… Where am I going to be shooting when I fire from the hip? Backwards?
Hip firing is no longer viable. I have a better chance getting struck by lighting twice than to hit someone firing from the hip.
Maybe it’s just me but the patch notes seem to be lacking for four months worth of development time.

It’s called a secondary weapon, and quick scoping

Fuck yeah! About time we got these “bugs” sorted out.
Very good patch over all, nice that they finally nerfed the PDP the way it should have been nerfed from the start, RoF.
@Merciless Try F82 Augmented Sniper if you try out Aimee’s bolt-action option. I have a feeling you’ll like it. Quick scoping with it is ridiculous since you can now reliably transition into scope while tracking.
I’m receiving regular equipment cases after matches, not equipment cases with 1% chance for a special loadout. Is that how it is supposed to work now? We can get event equipment cases only by cycles?
