Me too, i ain’t gunna spend 15$ when i already have the credits for Aimee. Plus ill just trade for an obsidian once trading comes out (if you can once it does come out.)
ReV: The Math. (For those who keeps saving like squirrels like me fearing of not having enough)
OKAY.
Advice for someone that will have around 105,000 for the event?
I want all trinkets and the culprit case. Should I buy 3x 10000 credit cycle packs and 1x 50000 credit cycle pack or just buy the 100,000k pack?
Keep in mind I’ll be playing A LOT during this event. I save 20k the first way and I still do need Redeye, Bushwhacker and Aimee.
***im also buying the skull splitter trinket. So I will potentially earn a lot of cycles just playing. Should I save my 20K by not getting the cycle bank for 100K?
So buy the skull trinket and see how the number actually turn out for you and your playtime. Patience.
We also dont know what happens to the cycles after the event. Id be careful with caculations until you know that information.
You guys not getting obsidian (I’m not either), you plan on getting the $5 skull trinket?
Okay my last question/concern was the event cases. Will it be best to open ones I get as drops at the 5th week so I have a chance to get any one merc?
Or if I like 4 of the rotated ones one week open them then? Or will whenever I get the case set in stone which mercs it’ll be no matter when I open it?
Or jump for the 15$ Culprit combo with her.
Or buy event stuff while possible and buy her after the event.
true, however, I think that the mercs are over priced to begin with (in real money not game currency), so I wouldn’t personally go for that even though it includes a cobalt.
I’m planning on spending the ol’ $20 USD to support SD, but I’m not exactly the happiest camper.
As for the rates, what are they like?
How fast do Cycles drop?

I’ll support devs by buying Aimee with 10€. Why I won’t scrap in 5€ more for an Obsidian either, is that all this case foolery is beyond healthy and I keep my money out of it. What I get from free events and by playing, sure, going as far as ditching those too for the sake of principle would be just as silly as the system.
I raise imaginary (alternatively a real one too if reason some day arises) hat for SD & Nexon combo for trying to figure out new ways of creating events. But this kind of cosmetic / trait system Loadouts currently are, limits possibilities so much that it’s damn hard to see them ever being succesful both in terms of rewarding for player and profitable for creators. Wish they would grab bull off it’s horns rework it from ground up.
I guess I’ll just play along with the event till I get 100k so I won’t need to bohter with thinking, I imagine getting that in 5 weeks should be no problem
I would like to know what are the odds of dropping 100% cases with each amount of boosters. But SD won’t tell anyways, since people gonna exploit the system.
I gonna try to get 100% cases with as little boosters as possible.
@kaMMakaZZi9 I’ll rather get the Vengeance Pack if I were you. You get Aimee (50k credits) and an exclusive, event only Obsidian loadout. That beats any loadout in terms of rarity, hands down.

I think I heard somewhere the chance to drop an equipement case are of 30 % in objective so thats the chance you get with 10 booster and its 60% in stopwatch. No with only 5 booster if its proportional you get 15% and 30% chance which is not that bad but once again
its all theories.
My goal is to not even buy the cycle bank but earn as many cycles as possible from matches and missions throughout the event with my skull splitter trinket, and see what I can buy through that.
Then maybe get a few tier 1 cycle packs for 10,000 credits each if I need to scoop up anything else. Want to preserve as much of my 95,000 credits I have now as possible so I can still get Aimee, Redeye and Bushwhacker.
Well, I just wanted the case anyway. I can get away with my noob level of credits.
How much for weeks 5’s Culprit Case? They said you can buy it with cycles in week 5 when the culprit is decided
@SkrubLord first post bro.
Culprit case is 500 cycles; to get the case and all trinkets it’s like 7650 cycles.
I’m still confused about the event cases. Will there be 4 diff ones for purchase for each week or one at the end with all mercs?

Thanks, I guess I need to check my eyes or get glasses. Maybe both.
But one thing I dont understand, the culprit case will contain only special edition cards of the culprit, or will it have only 1% chance? If its all special edition, then its reasonable. If not, this shit is overpriced as hell. 10000 credits for 2 event equipment cases that has 1% chance of a special edition and that is the only thing that is different about it compared to a normal equipment-case? That is bullshit. Might as well buy normal cases and try to get a cobalt.
It’ll be a special skin for the culprit guaranteed. Hence the name culprit case. Which loadout you get for the winning culprit merc (popularity contest) will be total RNG.
