Sometimes yeah, but it sure is fun to blow up Proxy with her own mine, wish it counted as a kill rather than suicide though. Other than that they’re really only annoying when running around bunny hopping, which really only benefits people using shotguns otherwise they just die, but still take more bullets to kill which is the annoying part.

Why not multiple backgrounds people can choose from? Fletcher is like Jehova. I don’t dislike him, but his fanclub becomes annoying.

@Faraleth I would like to expand. I hate her so much, so very very much. I hate her so much I would pay twice the amount Sniff has spent on the game just to have her removed. I cannot begin to describe how painful she makes matches, simply having her on the other team sends me onto massive tilt. A semi competent Proxy is by far the most over powered merc in pub play imo, because they can do everything and they can do it fast. Sparks is a close second but she’s played less and played less well most of the time.

Proxy will just roll over teams, I have pretty good aim - probably one of the best playing on Aus pub servers - and I can tell you that even as Fragger I can struggle to kill a Proxy sometimes. She’s just unreal to deal with. I’ve stopped playing Fragger recently so now I’d say that 30% of the time I lose to fucking Proxy in a 1v1 no matter what I’m playing. I don’t play much Fletcher though, that could help. She seems to bounce past my teams slaughtering everyone or just being ignored and planting objectives from the other side of the map while I’m on another, and then when I go to help deal with the plant the area I was covering gets flooded like a dam has been burst open. She literally kills any fun I have in the game, all of it. I cannot have fun unless there are no Proxys or the Proxys well and truly suck.

Nonsense ! Fletcher is the best and the sexiest. He needs to be in the background. Actually he should be in every page, every post and should replace every images : now that’s a plan !

I actually agree @Ghosthree3, Proxy is by far the worst merc to face off against… if she’s not running around with a shotgun killing even the strongest mercs in a few shots then she’s tossing mines like frisbees killing groups as well as a Fragger grenade but even less noticeable at times. I almost feel she needs a primary weapon nerf to remove the SMG and replace it with a machine pistol, that’ll at least somewhat help but other than that I don’t know what they can do without making her completely useless.

I actually don’t care too much about her shotgun, that annoys me far less frequently than her smg.

Her with a shotgun kills me way more than the SMG, but that’s just my experience. Anyway we should get back on thread topic so it doesn’t get closed.

I’d like to see a background where all the current mercs are in an action scene of some kind, would be pretty darn cool to see them in more than just their “profile” positions and all seen together as a team rather than looking distant from one another.
