I have heard 2 different takes on this. With our character we start off as medium and then unlock light and heavy. We can change our body type between games without creating an entirely new character, correct? I really hope so, because someone in a preview said once you pick a body type you CANNOT change it which I believe is incorrect.

On topic, finally, some great gameplay that shows just how dynamic the SMART system can be in combat. I love the wallhops he used to scale from one side of the upper level to the other. The player also implimented slides into some of the combat which was great. Excellent link, thanks a bunch. I really am getting anxious as these last hours count down. Tomorrow morning at 10am I will have Brink in my hands, rejoice!

Possibly one of the better videos I’ve seen. It would seem to me that aiming to preform park-our moves while being able to maintain some kind of mobility and aim would be quite difficult on a console. I’m anxious to us my keyboard and mouse!!

This player seems to be doing relatively well with it.

Agreed… I hope we can turn some of the superfluous sound effects off separately. If we can’t I’m going to have a massive headache if I play this game for more than an hour.

Great video, but goddamn this game is loud.

You will start off with the medium body type. At level 5 you unlock heavy and at 7 you unlock light, if I remember correctly (from what I’ve heard and read). You will be able to change body type on your character between games as much as you like but once you are in a game you will have to play as that body type for the remainder of the match.

I love the part where he throws the grenade at a group and uses a wall run to get to the other catwalk to flank said group.

Also, SMART fail at the very end. He was probably just not caring at the end.

BTW, is there sudden death?
