and where exactly does a low lvl exceed a high lvl in my screenshot? Not to mention if this ss shows more experience and skill lvl than any of the ranked matches you’ve played then you’ve never even entered ranked.

Even if the level 122 suicided, he still did average, and the level 10, 11, and 12, all exceeded the level 27, in addition to the level 11 and 12 exceeding the level 20 on your team.

And here we go again with the “you’ve never played ranked” garbage. [i]This isn’t even an argument.[/i] I’m ranked as a Silver Master and have played numerous games in competitive matchmaking, despite having to wait nearly half an hour between most games. If anything, YOU haven’t played ranked whatsoever because you clearly don’t understand how ranked was available at level [i]7[/i] and that level 7s play ranked, as well as people who are level 10-15, and I’ve only ever been matched against 4 people who were level 40+ in the entirety of my ranked playtime.

and a 10 lvl difference is barely anything, that’s not a lvl 10 doing better than a lvl 50 not to mention that the lvl 12 was hacking.

And for someone that never plays ranked I did reach a higher rank so gl.

A ) It was an exaggeration, but I’m sure you knew that. Plus, I was only 2 months off, so that timescale “argument” is irrelevant.

B ) The ranked season has been running for, what, 4 months?

C ) There has been nearly no update since the season was started.

D ) Again, you literally have no argument so you’ve resorted to insulting people you disagree with for no reason and derailing the actual conversation.

Doc told me I should cut down on salt so I should avoid this thread it seems. Quality battle 5/5.

This massive downtime is exactly what I was concerned of when I first heard of sudden closure of the entire mode. I still don’t buy it completely that they couldn’t just disable ELO movement (rank up/down) because of faulty draws/wins/losses and let the mode stay for 5v5 FF action. I’m not exactly sure which does more harm to the peoples perception of the mode: this 3+ weeks of maintenance or if it was simply way to play DB as it was balanced and meant to be, just without virtual genital-organ enlargement kit and fake glory. Maybe most people played it for a rank and it was thus right decision, I don’t know.

I’m sure going to least try play the heck out of it when it comes up again. I’m just really worried are hundreds of others going to bother anymore, hence creating again barrier and inconveniency known as “massive quetimes” that we were slowly getting away from with more people getting interested in it.

@Nibbles it is physically impossible for everyone to get a 30/15 kd, or for that to be the average, that means the half of everyone’s kills don’t count as deaths, for every kill there WILL be one death, that’s just how things work. To try to settle this (rather childish IMO) dispute, ranked can sometimes have very low skilled players, but more often than not, the players you encounter in ranked likely have an understanding of the game. In min lvl servers, you will never encounter a completely inexperienced player, though many lower level players you encounter there will not have a solid understanding of the game (unless you’re on min lvl 20, very few people will lack understanding at that level I presume)

The “30/15” was meant to apply to the “highly skilled” part I stated just before. Also, the point was that ranked functions in essentially the same way, only the level/skill bar is higher than ranked is, which is locked at level 7+, while min level servers are 10+ or 20+. The conversation also wouldn’t have been derailed from this simple fact if @hypnotoad and @neverplayserious didn’t just skeleton-argument me and childishly downvote me every time I replied, despite that much, if not all of it, held some truth to the merit.

The quote you’re referring to was “…everyone who plays on them are intermediately or highly skilled and roll out 30/15 K/Ds regularly on 15-minute objective matches.”, so I can see how that statement could be confusing.

Min level 10 servers mean nothing tbh. Even min level 20 means nothing, especially on this side of the world.

Heck, my mate who started playing less than a month ago (but is a natural at FPS games) only just hit level 12 last night and he is already better than most of the level 50-60 players I know.

I’ve never joined a min 10 server and thought “oh well, these players know what they are doing”, if anything I see just as much plebbery.

Yeah but in a way they’re much the same to ranked, and the only thing that could really deter less skilled players from playing ranked often is the concept of having your skill ranked and compared to the skill level of other players. I’ve still seen plenty of newbies do ranked, especially in the level 7-10 range, who are still new to the game but wanted to try competitive matchmaking anyways.
